Owner Does Her Dog’s Hair Every Day Since The Lockdown Started And People Can’t Wait To See What The Next Day Will Bring
Interview With OwnerThe coronavirus has changed a lot of things for Hannah Heil and her family. She and her husband have never worked more than a day or two from home, let alone at the same time. However, the pandemic has forced them to pack up the desks they each have worked at for over a decade, and relocate them to the small hobby farm where they live and the Internet isn't always the best. Naturally, the couple were worried whether or not they would be able to perform their jobs properly. They also love spending time with their close friends so being unable to meet them has been difficult as well.
But Hannah has found the perfect way to cope with all of these challenges. She has been doing funny hairdos on their dog, Hank, and the Newfoundland happily lets his owner play with his hair. Hannah created an Instagram account to document these little experiments and said she'll continue them until we all can return to our everyday lives.

Day 4. (Sunday Brunch)
"Something that helped with this stress was Hank," Hannah told Bored Panda. "Whenever we needed a break or something seemed to go wrong, we could go sit down with him for a few minutes. Hank has this wild hair that we believe portrays his mood, plus it’s fun to play with. While taking these 'Hank breaks', we started giving him hairstyles to make each other laugh. We figured if it could lift our spirits, maybe it could lift our friends' and families' as well. We started posting whatever we could come up with in the morning before work."
Day 16. (Hank Exotic)
Before they were quarantined, the couple had a big family reunion scheduled to celebrate what would have been Hannah's late-grandmother’s 100th birthday this month. Unfortunately, it had to be canceled, but Hank and his hairstyles have helped them all to have some fun and stay connected. "Gammy loved animals, and I think she probably would have enjoyed these pictures also," Hannah said.
Day 10. (Self-Care Sunday)
Hank just made me laugh out loud - - thanks for sharing some joy!!! Hank we LOVE you! (and your owners :) )
The best part is that Hank enjoys it as well, and has been a very good model to work with! "Hank is a classic example of the Newfoundland breed; patient, loving, and loyal. He is also the most photogenic dog we have owned, and I think he loves all the attention he gets while both of us are home," Hannah added. "Self-isolation has been fantastic to Hank, he gets 24/7 mom and dad time! Not much can bother Hank. As long as he gets kisses and a Kong chew toy after, it’s his perfect day."
If you feel like you could use some more 'quarantine hairdos' after you're done scrolling through Hank's, check out what this hairstylist has been doing to her boyfriend!
