My name is Gil Watson, I’m a Florida-based artist who hand-carved this “Nature Tree” totem out of northern white pine and white cedar, depicting the wonderful nature and wildlife of this area.

I laminated the boards then hand carved the pieces. The wildlife pieces were all carved separately and the tree was carved in two sections. All the pieces were then put together on the wall to form the “Nature Tree”. The art piece was finished in a variety of stains for depth and contrast.
