Hamster Becomes The Hoff!

A group of David Hasselhoff admirers came together to make a videoclip for Cashmere Jaxx’ debut track about a hamster that starts to believe that he is the #Hamsterhoff! It all started with a crazy script: what if we could make the Knight Hamster? Later on more highlights of the Hoff’s career were added. Like Baywatch, singing at the Berlin wall and the soundtrack of Kung Fury. For all these scenes miniature sets were created in front of greenscreen, where the hamsters could run around freely. After a long day of shooting with the whole crew the post-production began. The clip was edited and the special effects where added. Here the fun really began bij adding iconic things like turbo boost, the ocean and palmtrees, cloning hamsters for the Berlin wall and nice lens flares for Kung Fury. And for the final scenes they went all out for the battle between the cat and the hamster. At that point nothing was too crazy anymore!

Our panda team was responsible for the special effects in the video. That took some weeks to complete. Specially for boredpanda some behind the scenes photos!

The whole team had a lot of fun making it, hope you do too watching it!

Maybe next time we will use pandas instead of hamsters!
