I had this blue convertible Matchbox Car when I was 3 or 4. It reminded me of Major Tony Nelson’s car on “I Dream Of Jeanie”. Over time it became all beat up and missing some of the plastic. I once put a firefly in its trunk and accidentally killed it. I eventually lost it. Fleeting memories persisted over the years. I’m 53 and recently bought one in near mint condition off of eBay for about $15.00. It’s a blue 1969 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow coup. Tony Nelson’s was a Pontiac GTO. But when you’re 4, you don’t know the difference.

My Pikachu Tamagotchi. Lost it in the snow, while sledding. Search so long for it and I think about it from time to time, even 20 years later.

My red teddy bear. I called him Cherry Berry, and I loved him but gave him away because I went through a phase thinking I was too old for teddy bears. I still regret it.
