The first time I visited the dog shelter in Moscow, Russia I was asked to take some photos of puppies. The volunteers usually publish the photos on social networking sites to help the dogs find a new home. I was deeply impressed with the shelter dogs. Despite the cruelty they had in their live, they were badly waiting for people’s hug.
Since then I became a regular visitor of the dog shelter. The main thing I discovered for myself is that No-kill shelter movement doesn’t just rescue dogs, which have been lost, abandoned or neglected. It also rescues people giving them a chance for doing good and acting according to conscience.
