Being Greek myself, it felt like cheating

I thought Hera was the goddess of marriage.

There were many twin gods and figures in Greek Mythology. Castor and Pollux. Thanatos and Hypnos. Several more. So many gods never mentioned. Or the fact that Zeus feared other gods like Nyx. He wouldn’t hear her or her real as name in his house for fear she would come. Kaos, Nyx and Erebus’s family line were the strongest of the gods. Zeus feared the Fates daughters of Nyx and couldn’t command or control them. There’s a tale here and there of Zeus trysting to sway them. Basically the olympians god got bored, gave up, left to rule other realms and the real family is still here… Nyx and her line.

I learned more than I thought from watching Xena and Hercules as a kid...
