New beautiful series by Armenian photographer Karen Khachaturov is about his grandfather who is struggling the cancer, so Karen tries to visualize his feelings threw his images and try to put himself into different surreal circumstances, doing random activities in a pastel atmosphere.

Most of them seems to be funny so that’s his attitude towards the disease. The “Grandpa series” idea came to Karen right after he has known the diagnose of his grandfather and the whole series has been shot during one month. It’s really easy to work with him rather than with most of the models I shoot, says Karen.
