I Turned My Grandma’s Kitchen Wallpaper Into A Spring Dress To Preserve Priceless Childhood Memories

Growing up I always thought this flowered wallpaper from my grandmother’s kitchen would make a nice spring dress…

So when that kitchen was remodeled recently for the sale of the house, I had a chance to make that fantasy a reality! It was a great way to say goodbye to a house full of so many childhood memories.

    Really beautiful! Perhaps you should scan the wallpaper and have it printed on fabric as well, for some softer garments? ;)

    Oh that's actually a fantastic idea! Already planning to frame some to hang in my own kitchen...but that would be even better!!

    You could have fabric made for you at Spoonflower or something... It looks amazing, btw! Totally my style! I actually have a similar pattern on a dress that I made, which my husband jokingly refers to as my "great aunt curtains" dress...
