I decided to make a surprise for my girlfriend in a hiking trip this weekend so I came up with the idea of making a DIY glowing necklace from scrap wood using every possible tool that comes to my hands…
Here is the result.

First, I made these sketches
Started on the main piece
Cutting
Almost done
It was the Celtic knot
Valhalla
Getting the last part out of the scrap wood
Parts prepared for mounting

Phosphor glowing powder
Mixing crystal glue with the powder
Perfect glow
Front view after sanding and painting

Drying
Burning wood using soldering iron
Can’t wait to see her face expression when she sees it!
