Favorite dog breeds are a very individual thing. Bernese Mountain dogs can easily become your favorite when you experienced them a bit longer. The characteristic shaking of the head when they happily stomp towards you is enough to get me. And the toddling puppies with the still too big paws that they need to get accustomed to... Let's hope breeding succeeds in getting rid of the inherited deseases. Particularly the aggressive cancer crosses the life of not few of these gentle giants way too early.
