Girl Shares Things She Didn’t Know Made Sounds Before Getting Hearing Aids And It’s Heartwarming
Probably most of us take such things as birds chirping, the sound of rain, or even voices of our loved ones for granted. That doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate them but we just have to admit that it’s not something so awe-inspiring since it’s something so seemingly normal for us being humans. As it usually goes, the most appreciated things are those that you do not possess. This closely relates to today’s story about a girl being mesmerized by things she can finally hear after getting hearing aids. Scroll down to be reminded about those little joys in life as well!

Share on FacebookSometimes nature is just amazing! It is so amazing to know that people get to hear it, and so sad when they can't. I am rooting for you all!
This is so wholesome and cute, I love it <3 Go girl! And do I spy a lil bi flag? :) <3
I got bone conductive headphones that let me hear a full(ish) range for the first time since i was really small. My mum singing an old Gaelic song from my (and her) youth. I cried. SO HARD.
I take my hearing aids out when I get home > but I'll put them back in so I can hear the sound of the rain outside :)
Best noise experience in the world is a thunderstorm. Flashes of light followed by rumbling..sometimes loud, sometimes soft. Sometimes lightening cracks loudly and makes you jump. But then theres the soft sound of rain hitting the ground outside your window and playing a drum solo on the roof of your house. And the icing on the cake is when the frogs come out and sing their chorus of joy at the rain...like their way of laughing. Welcome to the world of sound. Enjoy every minute.
Having just got aids I am still waiting on thunder but cicadas are just stellar. Rain has such an array of sounds so well stated!
Load More Replies...I can relate the only down side is instead of people making you jump because you can't hear them coming random noises make me jump! I love her joy at it. Using a hearing loop in theatres has been brilliant.
Reminds me of when mum got hers, she had no idea that paper made a sound when dropped. She always commented on how loud the car horn is
My dad was the same - he was fascinated by the noise that toilet paper made when ripped along the perforated line. The most amazing thing is to see how much his confidence has improved, joining in conversations at the dinner table because he knows what's going on now.
