Girlfriend Texts Boyfriend She Shaved Her Head, Doesn’t Expect Reaction Like This
What would you do if you discovered that your partner had suddenly decided to shave all their hair off? That’s the situation one guy found himself in recently when his girlfriend Amanda sent him pictures of herself minus most of her hair.
He clearly didn’t realize that he was being pranked, and that Amanda had simply used an App to create the desired balding effect she was after, but his inability to comprehend what was happening only made the joke more hilarious. “I had a balding app on my phone and decided to send a picture of myself using it to my boyfriend, assuming he’d probably know it was a joke,” wrote the prankster. “Well, turns out he didn’t, so I just went with it.” How did he respond? Scroll down to see for yourself.

Share on FacebookFunny that they are talking about her hair being photoshopped while in reality this entire conversation is photoshopped lol.
It looked like they had to do that to get it all in one picture
Load More Replies...This story doesn't go anywhere. I hoped his reaction would have been accepting or something unexpected. He just freaked out and concluded that she photoshopped it, which she did. And that's if the convo even happened. If it's fake, it was a waste of time because it wasn't even entertaining to read. :(
Sure it went somewhere. It showed that he's an idiot and that she should drop him like a hot rock. She learned something all right - that her boyfriend is a superficial jerk.
Load More Replies...Really? Having "aesthetically pleasing hair" is important enough to warrant this kind of reaction? The delivery of this assumed joke is pretty bloody awful too. Clearly, neither of these people have had a close friend or relative lose their hair suddenly (or more gradually). Cancer treatment, Alopecia, Auto-immune deficiency, stress... My niece at 8 years old was more mature than these two when she shaved her head to raise funds for cancer research. Grow up!
Well. At least she knows that he loves her for her great personality, right? Such a poor guy. What if she gets cancer and loses her hair? Is he going to dump her then??
He sounds like a jerk. Time to take him to Dumptown.
Load More Replies...My ex use to always say to me "what if I coloured my hair____" green or blue or some other unnatural colour and I'd always tell her go ahead do whatever you want, it's your hair but YOU have to live with it, good or bad comments, everyday until it grows out or gets coloured again.
Hah, first learn how to make a convincing text conversation in photoshop then come to BP
The list of useless, meaningless and pointless posts from around here continues... Oh, I've got a story. My cat made a turd.
if that was my boyfriend I'd dump him. Who the actual f**k talks like that to his girlfriend regardless of her outward appearance? I mean, it's obvious he doesn't really care about her at all if the hair is such a huge deal to him.
Most attractive girls her age won't give bald men the time of day unless they're loaded, so how is he any more shallow than a young female?
Load More Replies...Fun fact: After you just shaved your head, you still see the hairline, because the skin is much lighter.
A question, should a person in a committed relationship consulte their significant other of drastic physical changes?
I was with my husband 19 years and I might have consulted with him if I wasn't sure of my choice but if I was decided I might have told him in advance. If he had such a rediculous reaction there'd have been trouble. In the end he did have a negative reaction to my broken spine and so is my ex-husband. Love is about personality not hair or working legs :)
Load More Replies...I started losing my hair because of alopecia.... I cried because my fiance had recently said he preferred me with long hair.... He is actually super supportive of me and has been there for me as my hair very slowly grows back.
Big difference beteeen losing your hair and deliberately doing something stupid.

I know it's silly, but - Guy's a complete pussy & she would be much better off without him. She could have shaved her head in support of a friend's cancer (which she said) and he's still freaking out about F*****G HAIR? He's a complete douchebag.

Load More Replies...I would react pretty badly too, if my wife shaved her long beautiful hair, because I love it. I wouldn't be as much of a drama queen as this guy, but I feel his pain. I would still love my wife just as much if she shaved her head, but I would be less attracted to her. That is the same reason I don't grow a long beard, she would still love me but she finds it unattractive. We are both adults and can do whatever we want, but we want to make our significant others happy too.
If her hair is the only thing about her you are truly attracted too then you're with the wrong person.
Load More Replies...Had a boyfriend of mine ever acted like their liking me was dependent on my hair-he would have been gone in a hot minute. As a mom of 3 and having been with my husband since we met in 1997- I can't tell you what a mistake it would be to stay with this guy. In the delivery room, in the ER next to our child, at our kitchen table with our bills when one of us lost our job- lemme tell you how you don't want some idiot moron immature dolt who gives a rats a*s about your hair. I am hoping this is some joke for you guys-although you're giving credence to a horrible notion that some little girl might be reading this and thinking it's normal for a guy to attribute some amount of worth to your hair!
Then just remove all your physical attributes, wear rags and assume we are just spirits, not human beings who are attracted to some people and not to the others. Yes, girls. Some guys will like your short hair and others will like your long hair. But no one will stop loving you - if they ever did - only because you change your hairstyle or become sick. Just consider that if you go for a guy who liked your long hair, he may need some time to get used to your new appearance if they weren't prepared for that change, that's all. Same for men of course. Basically this is about any CHANGE in human life. If you're not prepared for it and someone implements it, most probably you won't understand it and you won't like it until someone explains it or you get used to it.
Load More Replies...Would have been way funnier if she found out he was really into it and was disappointed to find out it was fake.
The fact that he said that he doesn't like women with short hair or bald women shows that his "love" conditional. She needs to dump him now.
Really? This guy cannot see the obvious difference in skin where the balding filter takes over??
my wife is partially bald actually. she wears a wig in public. at home she doesn't have to. and I don't care. those wigs can get hot. she is about the sweetest person I know. that's more important to me. but I am more of a serious person and if I thought she pranked me, I wouldn't be happy.
Hope she learned something from this experiment...and when he starts losing his hair, hope he and take the criticism the same way he was able to dish it out.
If I didn't already regularly shave my head I'd have a blast with this =)
If I didn't already shave my head I would have a blast with that... lol
lol Definitely a jerk. Hell, I met my now husband when I was still bald from chemo. He's said his thoughts when he first saw me was "She's cute! She's.. bald? She loves anime! I have to talk to her!" Nearly four years later, we were married and still the closest after 15 years of marriage.
I realize this isnt real but i seriously hope that there are not real arses like that who are so unbelievably superficial
Yeah, unfortunately, not only are there real arses like this, they're common enough that reactions like the one posted here are considered warning signs of potential domestic abuse.
Load More Replies...This is the exact same picture used for another post about a sister who mistook hair remover cream for shampoo. Fake.
OK, so everyone knows the guy and judges him basing on private conversation someone decides to publish. To achieve what? Make him look like an idiot? He just overreacted to A PRANK, that's all. Probably didn't really mean most of he wrote and would apologize for it. Now try to imagine what you would think being surprised by someone you know shaving top of their head and sending you photo. Probably: 'WTF?!'. He just said it. Maybe it was revenge or maybe she is pushing him to the limits every single day. So stop bringing cancer, making him controlling heartless beast, etc. Most of you should be ashamed of judging freely someone you don't really know. I guess everyone says stupid things to loved ones, anyone willing to share it and be judged by bunch of fortune-tellers?
There is also other side of this story: 1) People like to feel attractive and are attracted to others. 2) People like to look nice and be complemented. 3) People like to compete with each other, also to attract their future partner. Let's focus on physical part of human. Imagine you have a partner you lured with your physical appearance and you know somehow what are their preferences (anything - eyes, beard, muscles, weight, height, etc.), but of course they like your overall look (that's why you got in touch at all). Would anyone just freak out if they told they like your appearance and you shouldn't change it, because for them it's just perfect? Anything you were previously aware of they like so much in your body, you would just completely change or remove on purpose to prove they don't own you? Of course, it's your body and no one should force you to do anything with it against you.
Load More Replies..."I don't have a thing for women with short hair. Especially women who are bald." Sweetie you had better know that if you do ever need chemo this guy will drop you without a second thought. He failed this test miserably.
I actually did this for real. Shaved off half my head, beard, mustache and all. Just like the comedian Will Forte!!! My girlfriend freaked!!! It actually brought her to tears!!!
Honestly? I kinda feel like you should perhaps question that relationship. Not so much the "OMG WHUT" initial reaction, but being brought to TEARS over it is kind of...yeah. Along the same lines as this post, shall we say?
Load More Replies...I thought his reaction would be something like "Ok, it was for a great cause and I'm with you" and then send her a selfie with HIS head shaved - for real. But no, it was just a douchebag freaking out.
No comment found: If it would be my girlfriend I would break up. Not because a bad joke, because she sent it online. With her face in pictures. So all our friend can read it.
Ya know what? Now that I looked twice? Are we sure "she's" not a "he" just messing with us? I'd like to see full photos of before & after. Just sayin'.
It looks like he's acting surprise because his life is boring and needs to amuse girlfriend in this pathetic way.
