When I was at school I didn’t really mind doing my geometry homework, it could be pretty interesting and sometimes even fun. But I can imagine how dull and boring this might seem to other kids. That’s why I made this series. To sweeten the pill a bit and something that makes homework assignments more pleasant! Like a donut. Or would you prefer some ice-cream?
After all, there is a strong connection between cooking and science. Making a cake is a lot like conducting an experiment: you need to follow procedure, you have to carefully measure amount of every ingredient, you have to be precise. I never managed to bake a proper cake, every time I messed up I told myself that I’m not a scientist enough. But maybe I’m enough of a photographer to make a small series about precision, blueprints, geometry, donuts and cookies.
