I had a co-worker that was married to a Garbage man. Back when everyone was elated to get 12.50 and hour at their job, her husband was making 32.00 per hour driving the truck. I imagine the pay rate has gone up since then.

It is a good paying job, sometimes a government job working for the city, with good benefits. You start early, but your day might end early as well. You stay in shape! You're not stuck behind a desk! You usually have weekends off!
