Hi everyone, it’s Ellie here!

As a teen girl, I get very bored in school - therefore I doodle on my hands. Of course, I only use a pen and occasionally henna if I’m doing them at home.

Sorry for the bad quality photos, I’m used my iPhone camera.

Aiya Eldalië

Hand with J. R. R. Tolkien inspired temporary tattoo in Elvish script on wrist.

This elvish phrase means ‘People of the Eldar’, and was a part of a bigger quote that, in ‘the children of húrin,’ King Fingon utters before the battle.

    Aurë Entulúva

    J. R. R. Tolkien inspired tattoo design on a person's forearm.

Meaning ‘the day will come again’. This is another elvish phrase and this time I translated it into the Tengwar alphabet! Actually I’m surprised I remembered all the letters

    The Classic Hobbit-Hole

Hand-drawn Tolkien-inspired 'tattoo' on skin, featuring a tree and round door design.

Big round door, two windows on both sides and yes that is ivy growing ontop. Of course, I had to add a tree on top.

Very tempted to get this one done on my right wrist! My left is going to be taken up by Tolkien's symbol :D

    The Eye Of Sauron

Hand-drawn eye tattoo inspired by J. R. R. Tolkien, drawn on skin over a school worksheet.

It’s kind of ironic that the teacher saw me drawing this. Get it, the EYE of Sauron? I got a big French row for it anyways.

Fellowship Of The Ring Cover Design

Hand-drawn J. R. R. Tolkien inspired tattoo sketch on a hand, featuring an eye and script symbols.

It’s not a very good recreation of course. I did it on the same day that I did the previous one. If my hand looks a little smudged, it’s because it is - I couldn’t get the circles right. Also the elvish says narya, nenya, and vilya. That’s the names of the 3 elven-rings.

The Closer We Are To Danger, The Further We Are From Harm

    J. R. R. Tolkien inspired tattoo with a handwritten quote on a forearm.

Quoting Pippin when they’re about to attack Isengard. I don’t want to rub this off now, I did an almost perfect Tolkien font!

    You Shall Not Pass

    J. R. R. Tolkien inspired doodle with fantasy scenes drawn on skin in black ink.

This is literally just a doodle. Had my friend in tears (of laughter). She said I should do one of Gandalf the White so that’s the next one.

    Gandalf’s Return

Hand-drawn Tolkien-inspired tattoo sketch with Gandalf on skin.

In case you can’t read my incredibly messy writing (I apologize), it says: ‘ah, Gandalf. - I see you’ve been to the staff shop? - And what happened to your hat? I wanted a bargain for it, you know.’

The Fellowship, By Their Respective Heights

Hand-drawn J. R. R. Tolkien inspired tattoo sketch on palm with simple circular and line designs.

To normal people, it probably looks nothing like it, but to me (because I am not normal) it looks like them.
