‘game Of Thrones Animated’ Parody Created By ‘Simpsons’ And ‘Family Guy’ Animator
Winter is coming. And, so is the end. But before it does, let’s all sing, dance and bend the knee.
That’s the hilarious basis for the finale episode of the animated series, ‘GAME OF THRONES ANIMATED.’
It’s comes from the deliciously warped brain of Emmy-nominated veteran animator and director DOMINIC POLCINO. And, if you don’t recognize his name, you will know some of the projects he’s worked on including ‘The Simpsons,’ ‘King of the Hill’ and ‘Family Guy’ to name a few.
Now, just for kicks, he’s delivering his own animated series under his YouTube channel ANIMATION VAULT.
In ‘Game of Thrones Animated,’ he lovingly mocks everything GoT from the map room to skin faces to the three-eyed raven to Hodor and more.
Polcino recently released the final two episodes, which are describe as:
“The Neighborhood” delivers a walk-of-shame commentary from the peasants living in King’s Landing. As tomatoes fly, so does the locals point of view about many things in the Kingdom and beyond, including Cersei, The Mountain, Dornish women, the moody Starks and the metaphor of Hodor.
“It Takes A Targaryen” offers a grand musical finale as it recounts the infamous first meeting of Daenerys and Jon Snow. After an initial back-and-forth squabble, the Mother of Dragons bursts into song to explain all the reasons for the Bastard to bend the knee.
Created in 2018, ANIMATION VAULT is explained as Mad Magazine, only animated. The channel showcases cheeky shorts that lampoon popular films and TV series. It currently hosts Polcino’s satirical tribute ‘Doctor Who Animated,’ with plans for future animated originals.
Fans can also head over to Amazon Prime to check out Polcino’s award-winning animated feature film, ‘Lovesick Fool: Love in the Age of Like.’ Voiced by stars Lisa Kudrow, Janeane Garofalo and Fred Willard, the semi-autobiographical story of a single guy searching for love.
