In today’s society, funny tweets about therapy showcase just how accepted the treatment has become by people. Over time, the stigma of therapy has disappeared as its benefits have become much more visible. While funny therapy memes focus more on the images, tweets are more personal. However, there is a thin line with tweets like these. Medical tweets that are funny have to be careful in their delivery of the punchline.
Therapy tweets focus on the relationship between the doctor and the patient. Funny tweets that focus on therapy showcase the better aspects of the doctor-patient relationship. When it comes to tweets like these, they usually touch upon the positive side of mental treatment. Relatable tweets like these encourage people to seek help and visit a therapist. There is nothing wrong in doing that, and tweets about it prove it.
To some people, therapy might seem scary due to the pressure that society can create. To the rescue come some of the funniest tweets on Twitter. They can be both helpful and funny — a rare combination. Below, we compiled some of the best tweets, so be sure to upvote the tweets you found to be funny. My grandparents had one of these and the mechanism that made the shapes pop out always went off after 5 seconds.
For me it's more about making sure my parents don't get hospitalized. I was in therapy because of them, and there's a lot of stuff I didn't tell my old therapist because I was afraid stuff would get twisted and she would think I wasn't safe or something. Sometimes it's hard to explain stuff exactly how it happened and if you leave out just one important detail it can seem like you said something entirely different than what you actually meant. Hopefully getting a new therapist soon, and I'm going to try to be more honest with them, but we'll see how it goes.
I think I need to do this. Kinda feel bad for whoever my new therapist will be lol
bro i need that it takes over two hours to explain everything and that's just the short version of it
I'll try this with my new therapist, he might add it to my list of problems, but that's his problem. Lol
I should do this. My latest therapist said I was very cavalier about my trauma. I responded that after going through the 5-minute Cliff notes version with six different therapists you kind of get numb.
I did something like this, once (it was a binder). The therapist read half of it, started crying, left, and never returned.
Kinda feel like I just need to do this for the rare occasions I meet new people but also as my ice breaker for dating...NOPE actually thank you so much for my new dating profile content 🤣
I do a 'Life outline'. Bullet points and everything, that is for their reading pleasure and it goes into my file. I prefer they read it before we delve into everything.
Nah, they seem pretty good with both. Well in my brief experience.
😱🤬😤 DITCH ANY therapist who question love for cats!!!!!!! F**K OFF stupid therapist!!! 🖕🖕🖕
my therapist switched over to a new platform and now i get a discount cause i stayed with her
"I've seen your life and I'm not impressed" for any Bob's Burger's fans.
I've found you can always make things sound much more dramatic by saying "I'm in therapy for a reason." I am, in fact, in therapy for a reason, it just has nothing to do with anything I just told you.
i always wanted to ask my therapist if she talks about me to another client, like not specifically but in this way
Oh no...something to also discuss with the therapist, they're understand.
Can't take the chance, next time say some code words and see if anything happends...tango...foxtrot...alpha...go go go.
Probably someone who was stressed and was like, damn, there should be a doctor for this.
My old therapist used to do this. She was always so nice and understanding when I forgot that it made me feel horribly guilty...
Lol. You're just like your father! Oh wait, no, it went through. You're doing great.
ITS NOT THAT EASY YOU CANT JUST CHANGE WHEN SOMEONE SAYS SO
Sometime jut giving people the answers doesn't work cause they don't listen. They must make the connection themselves.
Exercise ? .... not even if I'm being chased by a spider-clown-chainsaw holding maniac
Must have been quite a dry spell if all you needed to perk up was a little Peter
Therapists need help too. Also being relatable can help.
This is really random but you ever feel like you’re going to die from a panic attack and then your therapist says it’s normal. Like dude the emotions and intensity of that was wack, why the hell am I Not some crazy protagonist in a movie
From what I've seen across the internet we're supposed to be reserved, loyal and difficult to gain trust.
Me, who was put in therapy by my mom because of my dad: I don't really talk to him. Or about him...
lol my therapist canceled on me on valentine’s day so your ahead of me
My girlfriend had a therapist once, and i always came with her meeting the therapist. And i always ended up talking a lot about stuff to the therapist. Eventually,i was the one who got consulted to. The therapist quit because she gave up on us tho. She said me and my gf can't be helped because we're so apathetic. She almost cried when saying that. Man,i felt sorry for her.
A psychologist at school told me that I need to start therapy. I may or may not get it soon. Is there any advice you Pandas have for me?
It'll take a few tries to find the right one. If you don't feel like you can trust the first person it is okay to move on to another one.

This article made me realize I distrust therapists now. Hmm *searches "how to get therapy without a therapist"*
It's called a bff with their head screwed on straight who's known you for a while.
Load More Replies...I met my girlfriend in a mental hospital after having a full breakdown. She was having one as well... She was a national MH holtline therapist, and she was back at work the next week. Chew on that for a moment.
