Feminism should never be seen as pretentious gals with hairy armpits demanding for more than they could take; feminism should be seen as common sense, because only by common sense we can start to see, that men and women are, indeed, equal. Equal not in the understanding of sheer physical capabilities, but rather in making the same choices and expecting for the same outcomes as men get. And whatever your views are, it's hard not to admire feminists when they are making statements and the best jokes in such a badass manner as in these funny Tumblr posts below.
Bored Panda has scrolled through the depths of Tumblr, collecting hilarious jokes that advocate of women's rights have laid out while remaining completely on-point. Some are savagely destroying articles in the media, some are taking down popular beliefs, but all of these claims and funny jokes will put a smile on your face. Scroll down to enjoy the entries, vote for your favorites and check out our previous posts about feminism and hilariously funny women here and here.

I get the point, but for that she burned herself too. Pity! She should have thrown coffee on his fckng face.
Always loved Donna when she said stuff like this! I think that's why whenever I see a picture of her I think that whatever it is, I can do it :)
I'm to old for tumbler or most social media but I do wonder why millennial men feel they need to articulate every thought they have especially the stupid ones and especial to the world? I think things some may think inappropriate from time to time, and I keep it inside my head, it makes life easier.
She is absolutely right about tge conservative men, but it surely is not 100%. Such simplifications are totally unfair to women who are forced to abort or who's live situation give them no choice although they would want to have the baby. Mocking them by putting them into the 100% does not help .
As someone on the spectrum all people are often strange and inscrutable creatures to me.
I was taking a cultural diversity class once and the muscular, 6'2" instructor stated that white women crossed the street when they saw him walking their way because they feared black men. I asked him if black women did the same thing and he said he'd never noticed. I asked him to pay attention and tell us at the next class. Turns out they did, which spun his worldview. I explained that most women confronted with a large, unknown male will put a safe distance between them as a matter of self-preservation. He honestly could not comprehend that women who did not know him had no way of knowing he was nice. Next class, he told us he started crossing the street when he saw lone women heading toward him, and many of them made eye contact and nodded. He was amazed that a little change like that made him less threatening.
The statement is witty but the writing looks like it's been done by a 6 year old child.
Entitlement isn't hoping to some day find a woman who desires you. Entitlement is expecting a specific woman to desire you. Don't confuse the two.
yep ^^ Look at most other shows. Even some kid shows have a smart boy, a tough boy, a weird boy.... and a girl. Her only characteristic is that she is the girl.
Urgh, I hate people that think feminism means "Females > Males" instead of "Females = Males".
is this true? if it is it is both scary and awesome. scary because of just what science can do and awesome coz its awesome.
As "genius" as this post is, there are big differences between types of feminists. Great women like Christina Sommers has a lot of good points about this.
honest question, ya know when you're like, anywhere and someone (man or woman) walks past and smells damn nice, kinda like 'yeah that's the smell I wanna smell like' or 'I think my partner would love that smell' sorta smell, ok, how do you ask them what it is without sounding like a stalker or creepy as hell?
The other day I was walking home through a nice suburb and the ARMED guards outside someone's house started catcalling me.
Since when has "Adventure Time" been a mostly male thing anyway? The other two I understand a bit more given how stupid some people are.
That is intensely stupid. I hold doors. Here’s the etiquette. If someone is directly behind you, hold the door so it doesn’t slam them in the face. If someone is carrying a heavy load, hold the door for them. If someone can’t manage the door on their own (disabled, senior, on crutches, whatever), HOLD THE DOOR!........ This is 100% gender neutral. EVERYONE should do this. it’s basic good manners. ....And ladies, if any man whines about it, let go of the door before they can grab it.
Funny. As far as I can see the current US president is about as emotionally unstable as a leaf in a hurricane.
Okay. So there are two ways one can look at this. One can either focus on "girls that are anit-feminist" OR on "anti-feminist just to be considered chill by guys". And at least going through comments I think we all understand feminism is about gender quality and not putting either of the gender down. So be kind to each other and understand that same thing can be viewed from different perspectives and still believe in same thing.
Finally, a Disney princess who is actually freaking capable of herself.
The song "What makes you beautiful" never made sense to me. He tells her she's beautiful because she doesn't know she's beautiful, but by telling her she's beautiful he is taking away the source of her beauty, which as he just explained is her not knowing that she's beautiful. He probably should have kept his mouth shut about the whole thing and just enjoyed her company.
Patriarchy is largely societal problem, not a men problem. Some of the most vile, disgusting things I've ever heard said to a woman where said by another (usually much older) woman. One of the most bitter arguments I've ever had with my mother was when she told my 12 year old niece to "stop wearing outfits like that, cause people who wear c**p like that deserve to get raped." Still, I dislike the term because its etymology implies men alone are the problem, which isn't true. That those most fond of the term tend to be misandrists doesn't help it either.
So what? Because it's not hard means it's not important? Are male feminists just something to be disregarded?
@Alex, mechanical engineer here, pretty sure I could fix a car better than you. OH F**K & I am a woman. Men still try to do this s**t to me while explaining how a car works. If you feel the need to talk down to women when you work on their cars, are you a jackass? Yes, yes you are.
This is true - we shouldn't talk in "all men" and "all women" terms - unless it's followed by "are created equal"
Although i’m a total feminist, I had to disagree with a lot of these posts. A lot of them are just women being sexist towards men. As I keep saying, feminism is for equality, not for superiority. Although statistically more men are likely to be sexist towards women, I know a great many men who ARE feminists, and really trying to help the movement. It is true, that not all men are the same. Just like not all women are the same.
Yes. They are being overly sexist in some places here.

I don't believe in gender base sented cosmetics. I use aftershave for it's original purpose, to ease skin irritation, but shampoo, deodorant, whatever, I use whatever.

The problem is that people mistake equality with being the exact same. Guys are typically stronger, gals are typically more agreeable. So what? We can accept this and still have equality.
If I've digested properly: feminists are all women; feminism is about trolling me; and manly men are against equal gender rights. Deep breath, long sigh.
I may have smiled at one or two of them. The rest was just entitled misandrist sexism.
I don't think I have ever seen so many down voted comments on a Bored {Panda post.
I haven't scrolled down to the downvotes yet. You're worrying me.

We need a world of equal chancen and to stop thinking in buckets, classes, differences, rathen than people manifesting just other imbalance which they deem more appropriate. If we would all be but a bit more human and less prone to stupid stereotypes, much would be better
Yeah, I agree with you. Why do these groups fighting against racism/sexism/segregation fight back with the exact same things? It doesn't help at all.
Load More Replies...I don't say I'm a Feminist, because you get too much backlash these days, from the actual problems, like the deemed, 'Femenazis'. But these ones are just sexist towards men. If you're promoting equality, why put down the other sex?
I think it's fine to be super feminine, masculine, conservatively dressed or bare naked as long as you don't force anyone else to be like you. :)
Ok, I feel like it's at the point where a guy can't say anything against feminists and/or women in general without getting slammed for being a horrible person. I'm trying my best to help women in need, so don't act like I'm the problem. Most of us guys aren't. You just wanted an enemy, and saw literally every male person as a perfect candidate.
Okay, no. We didn’t just want a random enemy. Women have been oppressed for ages. We weren’t allowed to vote, to divorce ourselves, to speak out. We’re finally reaching a point in time where we have a voice, and you should know damn well we’re gonna use it. Some women call themselves feminists and just try and put down men in general, but that’s not what all feminists stand for. We just want to paid an equal amount, to be allowed to share opinions, have equal job opportunities, not to be put down, not to be frequently raped then dismissed, and to not be taxed on f*****g tampons. I understand what you are saying about we shouldn’t generalize men, and you’re right, but if you criticize a woman for being a woman, yeah, you are sexist and a horrible person.

A lot of the downvoted comments are just proving why feminism is still necessary
I like how these people are complaining about being generalized while simultaneously generalizing males...
And nobody in the comment section seems to have any issue with people generalizing ALL feminists, so I guess everyone is a hypocrite.

I am not a feminist, but I believe in equality. No, that is not a paradox, as the feminist movement does not have monopoly on wish for equality. Nor does it mean I'm anti-feminist, I just simply reject the label. I'd rather have the label "humanist", "scientist" or "a decent human being".
Just for clarity (as the downvotes are boggling me): "Decent human being" means a person who supports equality. It doesn't mean feminists aren't (or are.. a******s are found in any group). Feminism is a set of ideologies. A sociological perspective, just like Marxism is. It is not a moral code. I understand some people are very religious about it, but that doesn't mean that one who does not identify as a feminist is against the ideology. The problem with religions and other ideologies is that everybody has their own interpretations about it. I do, you do, the authors writing about them do as well. It is obvious in the comment section. Feminism itself is divided into groups, from liberal to radical feminists... and people wonder why others are confused about it! One doesn't need to be a feminist to believe in equality, and not all feminists believe in it, either ("all women should be X" or advocating for female superiority). There is not just one true feminism.
Load More Replies...That's the whole point of feminism, though. It means you can stay home if you want, or have degrees and have a career, or any combination of those things. Because ***some*** people have the wrong idea about feminism, it doesn't change the core of it: equality for both sexes. That's all it means. Also, EVERYONE gets offended by something. Certainly not just feminists.
