Why do some people still keep their ex's number though and then changed it to exbf, waste of time, b^tch etc? (I get keeping the number when you broke up and stayed friends but these are nothing like that :P )

people are so mean with each other. i remember few year ago my girlfriend and i split a appartment with a friend of her and didn't end well. even if i help her, do most of the chores at the end she was sick of seeing me around and scream at me. I love that many of these have changed the name of the person in their contacts to EX-BOYFRIEND or EX GF. I wonder if some people have many variants on this.
