High School Let Seniors Wear Costumes For Their Student ID’s And Their Pics Just Won The Internet
What started out as a wacky trend for a few students at North Farmington High School in Detroit, Michigan, has now become a tradition as seniors show their creativity when shooting their student ID card pics.
So instead of the bland, cheesy grins and cringeworthy haircuts the rest of us see when looking back at our school photos, these students can get a kick out of their creative efforts. Dressing up in a diverse range of pop culture icons, from Audrey Hepburn to Oscar the Grouch and everything in between (some are hilariously random choices) the tradition is a fun and inspiring way to start the school year and get everyone involved.

If we cut each apple in the middle so there are 2 parts of each apple, how many apple parts are lying on the plate ?? While not recognizing most of the characters makes me feel old, I do love to see people wearing their goofy passions on their sleeves!

It's been awhile since I've been in high school, but I assume student IDs are no longer used to actually identify students anymore...?

I think this is awesome. It turns something common like a school picture into an event that everybody wants to arrive. This will sure give them lovely memories.

If this is real, while epic, the school just violated FERPA by allowing the names to be shown in the photos...

This is both awesome and memorable! My only concern is that some of the students are posting their full name and barcode from their ID's on Twitter for the world to see. Am I just being paranoid!

This is too much information to be spreading about minors. At the very least their last names need to be blurred out.
