A lot of crazy things can happen on a dog walk. Maybe your pup starts chasing a squirrel, maybe a squirrel starts chasing your pup. Or maybe you run out of treats so your four-legged buddy decides to steal an ice cream from a kid. Who knows! The recent unexpected encounter that Cherie Priest and her two doggos had on one of their strolls, however, definitely tops that list.

“Greyson is generally friendly to everything and everyone; he’s an easy-going guy, though he will definitely bark at other dogs,” Cherie told Bored Panda. “Lucy is a little trickier. She comes from a rough background and she has some issues, namely – she’s very dog-reactive. That said, Lucy LOVES puppies, and she adores small dogs.”

Chunk the Pomeranian ran away from its owner and its first targets were Cherie’s gang members. It was the first time they met him from up-close. “Once before, Chunk’s momma saw us coming – and scooped him up to bring him inside,” Priest added.. “Then she came out to visit with Greyson and Lucy. She loves dogs! She just knows Chunk can be a little weirdo, that’s all.”

This time was different. There were screams, bites, the whole shebang you’d expect from a tiny furball that thinks it’s sooo badass. “At first, I thought it was hilarious. He’s basically a beach ball made of hair.”

And since Cherie’s a writer, her Twitter thread is nothing less of a beautifully written action comedy. Scroll down and check out how everything unfolded!

P.S. Lucy apologizes to everyone who wanted a picture of the whole trio. “When I’m walking Greyson and Lucy, I don’t generally have a free hand for candid photography, I’m afraid. And I don’t usually walk them down the block where Chunk lives (it’s kind of a long loop through the neighborhood), but I’ve started taking my phone when I do. Since they’re all buddies now, I’ll try to get pics of them all together, sometime.”

I've got a Great Dane that turns into 140lbs of pure excitement when he sees another dog. And he adores the little dogs rather than the ones his own size. Other dog owners never know how to react when Walter gets excited, his barks vary between Mom's killing me with this collar... to ... OMG OMG OMG DOG!!!! lol Walter would have been so happy to have Chunk come see him. My feet would have told a different story after the stomping though.
