Interview With ArtistToday, we are happy to present you with another very talented comic artist, recognized by his blue-toned artwork. No wonder the comics are called "ok blue comics."
As the artist described his work, these cartoons are: "quirky relationship comics about me and Mrs. Blue, in blue." Besides relationship themes, you will also find some artwork from the "okcat" series featuring felines in hilariously absurd scenarios, obviously also drawn in signature blue colors.
Without further ado, let's hop into the post, and for more information on the comics, read the interview with the artist below!

Bored Panda contacted the artist, known as Mr. Blue, to delve into the details of his comics.
First of all, we wanted to explore Mr. Blue's background and learn more about him. He wrote: “I create comics by night. I work in the world of IT during the day. I enjoy being active and regularly exercise with Mrs. Blue. We also have both a daughter and a newborn son.
Mrs. Blue is my biggest supporter and always encourages me to pursue my hobbies.”
Mr. Blue also shared what drew him to the world of cartooning and artistry.
“I've always loved drawing and making people laugh through comics. Oddly enough, as much as I drew comics as a kid, I didn't really read many. Until I met Mrs. Blue, I had never even read Calvin and Hobbes!” wrote the artist.
We guessed you would also be curious to know why Mr. Blue chose his comics and the whole theme to be based on the color blue.
He explained: “I'm color blind, so I have a hard time matching colors. The comic is an all-blue aesthetic that is a slice of life focusing on relationships.”
The artist also provided insights into his creative process. “I sometimes embellish from real life but mostly just start writing any word that comes to my mind. Eventually, the words link up, and I start to create little gags with them. I try not to do much with things that are trending because everyone does.
I draw on an iPad Pro and use a mix of Procreate and Clip Studio Paint. I've recently been experimenting with traditional media, so there may be a style altercation in the future.”
Lastly, Mr. Blue shared what he hoped the audience would take away from his comics: “That life doesn't have to be serious. You can joke and have fun - even if things seem tough.”
He also added: “Creating is a passion, and I love making comics! I appreciate anyone who reads my work and joins me for this fantastic ride.”
I don't laugh...straight to frame 4 for this girl. My kids and I have an agreement:D
That's my girl. She starts screaming and crying when you go near her toes with scissors. Mind you, she's 2 years old...
Now I have "the catchy song" from the second lego movie in my head 🤣
put an old, worn out bit of your clothing on the bottom of the travelbox and put some small chunks of chicken at the back of it. Works with even the most recalcitrant of kitties.
I can relate. Someone does this to me and it's I'll see you in the battlezone, buddy XD
Yep. Toothbrushes are sacrosanct. Just the thought of using another's toothbrush makes me want to HUMF as well..🤮
I feel bad for his girlfriend because he sounds like insufferable child...this is not how healthy relationship works
