Somebody should warn the spider - that environment is not safe. The sort of trees that wander about and such, tends to scream hysterically and slap in your direction upon seeing you peacefully climbing them, and may squish the precious spider for no reason at all. Some are even proud about never catching them, but always killing them. Even way smaller ones. Even less dangerous ones. Even harmless ones like this.

I used to own a landscaping company, and while working in a client's garden for hours, I kept feeling a tickle in the same spot as in the above pic. I never looked at my leg, I just scratched the spot, and continued working. As the area was filled with rather tall plants, it wasn't until I stepped out of it that I noticed a slightly smaller than the one above, hairy wolf spider, clinging to my leg! It took a long time for me to wear shorts again while working.

I was working around the stables and suddenly something H.U.G.E. scurried down my leg inside my pants. Now, I'm 6' tall and can bench press my horse and I was running around like a terrified 2 year old screaming like a banshee and swatting at my leg. Come to find out, there was a hole in my pocket and my knife had fallen through it and went sliding down my leg. "God, I hope nobody saw that!"
