It looks like an African pouched rat (totally different species) and they're kept as pets and also trained by Apopo to sniff out land mines. So technically yes it's a rat but not the kind you're thinking of.

The snakes. I would barricade myself into a café and survive on cake and coffee. I think I'd be safe there from the Mambas (unless they get in through the air vents) but I don't think the flimsy door would stop a gorilla.

Mambas please. The gorilla would more likely search me out, and I’d have a much harder time fending it off with a broom.

Snakes. Snakes are probrably better at hiding from me than I am at hiding from a gorilla.

Honestly, the snakes. go to the control room, crank the AC up, and relax. Snakes are cold blooded and get SUPER lethargic and slow when it's cold.

Black mamba's will naturally avoid me if I make noise unless I actively disturb them. A primate trapped indoors, however, is going to get curious about the surroundings and likely outrun outclimb and outmaneuvre me without the slightest difficulty. I choose the snakes.

Silverbacks are not inherently aggressive. If you do not represent a threat to their group, you are OK by not staring at them and acting rather passive. Snakes, on the other hand, are not fans of people or anything else that crosses their paths; especially so with Black Mambas.

The snake is poisonous. The gorilla is just yawning.

I think I’d go with the snakes. My thought is they’re not going to bother me if I don’t bother them. Just watch where you step, sit, and lean.
