Peaceful protests are a good opportunity to exercise your freedom of speech, a time when you can take to the streets and make your voice heard while surrounded by people with similar opinions and grievances. But as you can see from this hilarious list compiled by Bored Panda, freedom of speech applies to everybody, and some people use their freedom to mercilessly troll protesters who have alternative (and often ridiculous) views on things. Scroll down to see some of the funniest anti-protest protest signs we could find, and don't forget to vote for your favorite!

I just love the religious idiots with their "God hates" signs. When did God give you the right to speak for him? And doesn't God say he will be the judge, not man? Those people are one of the reasons I believe organized religion to be wrong and evil. Believe in what you believe in, but don't force your belief on others.
I fully agree. They preach that Jesus loves everyone and that he told his followers to do so. SO how do they get off saying God hates homosexuals ...where / when did Jesus say this ? They also believe that God created everything and everyone ... So therefore he must have created some people gay...why would he then hate them? I also believe that fundamental religious groups of any denomination to be very dangerous ... and very very wrong. Live and let live and do as you would be done by are very true axioms.
Load More Replies...its amazing that people who hate something so much based on a book thats been rewritten hundreds of times choose to spend their time and money protesting things that have nothing to do with them or that affect their lives.
I'll never forget when the Foo Fighters rickrolled Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas City in 2015 - LIVE, from the back of a truck, in the middle of a street and in broad daylight. It was EPIC!
Westboro Baptist Church came to the city I was living in at the time (Tulsa) to protest a gay pride picnic/parade (the first in several years). I got across from them and set up two signs - God Is Love and Fred Phelps Is a Wanker. A guy gave me the stink eye, set down his sign, and got directly across from me to wait for traffic to ease so he could cross. At that time in my life, I went to the gym religious, and I was in a muscle shirt and shorts. He got a better look at me, went back to the crowd, got a buddy, and came back to wait for traffic. I stared straight at them, smiled, and lit three torches without breaking eye contact, and began to juggle. Seeing as I was not only bigger than they were but also had "weapons," they looked at each other, said a few things, and went back to pick up their signs. I've always wondered if they meant to do me harm since they're not like that - preferring to make themselves targets instead so they can file lawsuits (a lot of them are lawyers).
Disagree with someone's stance? Fine, no problem. Hate them for it? Then you've lost my support, even if I may agree with some of your argument. Unfortunately, hate can be the squeaky wheel and appeals to some people to draw them in, possibly because they are looking for community.
I can't believe such stupid protests are made when there are bigger problems to solve.
Its relative. To a tiny mind, a small matter is a big issue.

Praise be to Hesus that I live in Australia and we don't have ANYTHING like the Westboro Baptist Church here. The freaky religious folk are few and far between and don't protest such hatred. They hang out at abortion clinics but laws were passed they have to keep a certain distance from the front entrance...like a long, long, long way away.
They do sneak into parliament though. Tony Abbott, Barnardi, rev Fred Nile and a few others are god fearing christians (by their own words). Don't you remember the Gay marriage debate?
Load More Replies...God hates- lemme stop ya right there. Odds are likely he probably doesn't.
Those were great, but like I said, I fear for the trolls' lives. They could get beaten up and end up in the hospital!
I wanna go to a protest carrying a sign that says "Citation needed" and "Anyone for Scrabble later?" XKCD, anyone?
While I am a Christian, I do support gay marriage 100%. The bible says that God loves everyone. God hates NO ONE. And those people with signs saying things like "f*gs" are terrible people. To those people, you know what else God opposes? The use of hateful language or "slander" is opposed right in Ephesians 4:31-32. And also, if you are ever facing prejudice because of your sexuality, while I may be Christian, I am here for you 100%!
As someone who has a great relationship with Jesus and reads my bible consistently, i cant seem to find the part where Jesus says he hates gay people.... I love it when people cherry pick Lavitical law and leave out everything else that they themselves would be put to death for. You see, we all sin every day. No sin is worse than any other. It's not our job to judge anyones salvation. God loves all of us the same. We will all have to answer for what we have done. People get so blinded by hatred because of a few morons. Listen up gay people JESUS LOVES YOU AND I LOVE YOU. because that is what being a Christian is about......
Who even cares about their stupid opinions any way? ...I think Ben Affleck sux at being batman.....does any one cares? No! exactly
so when the west bureau baptist church decided the protest across the street from my high-school all the student decided to go to school that day in tie-die shirts.
A couple of these I'm not sure which protesters are being trolled
Lols... we all need a good laugh and to stop being so serious. There are more important things in life to worry about. Just be happy, 😁
Next time White Supremacists schedule a demonstration in your town, put an all-out effort into staging "Springtime For Hitler (In Germany)" from the Broadway play, "The Producers". High-stepping SS girls, pink uniform Hitler, the whole spiel.
#5: Who's trolling who? Weak a*s "argument" that this darn baby that I share the responsibility for producing is just too damn inconvenient to me to allow to live!
This was funny at first then it got kinda depressing. All those judgmental people demanding I think like them.
There should be a protest tax. Want to protest great... It will cost you ten hours of volunteering at a homeless shelter or fostering kids and pets. You can have the right to free speech, paid for by your own good actions. Use all this free time to protest or anti protest constructively. Help your fellow man regardless of political views cause we are all just meat sacks flying through the universe until our inevitable death.
Would you seriously want some nutjob fostering an innocent child or a defenceless animal for 10 hours?
