Please stop lying about whether your dog is friendly. You can say "sometimes", "we are practicing", or even "with family". There is nothing wrong with "not so much!" I remember a German shepherd coming to attack me, it was off leash, growling, snapping, barking, the whole shebang. Owner starts shouting that it's friendly and I pop back that he didn't look friendly to me! I kept telling him to get his dog control your dog, I didn't want to hurt it. He just kept responding that it was friendly. He did finally get his dog on a leash and I said something smart. Friendly dogs don't react in an unfriendly way. People may want to try and get to know your furry friend expecting that we share the same definition of "friendly". If they're not quite good with others yet, let us know and definitely keep it on a leash.

If a dog starts growling doesn't necessarily mean he is unfriendly BUT don't just put your hand on his back as a complete stranger. The dog's owner should have given instructions. Let's hope he doesn't read the panting face as smiling 😊

A lot of people don't understand that pitbulls talk just like huskies. Until you get used to the sound, you might think they are growling

I was attacked by a doberman pincher as I passed by a truck to go into a store. The dog lept from the back and scraped along my neck. The owner tells me it wasn't possible because it was "a nice dog".

It took a few seconds to realize that the cord was not going out of the dog’s ear into his ear.

In that moment he knew he f**ked up

Dogs have a great sense of character, when it comes to people. Doesn't always mean that you are a bad person, you can simply have negative energy at that moment, or even nerves can trigger a dog to be defensive. As any person would be.

Pit bulls should be extinct. They are not welcome in most communities. Shelters would be 92% empty because this and offspring breeds are not wanted. Owners of pit bulls are ghetto people who think it’s cool to own a killer dog. Nothing attractive about them. I watched an elderly woman get killed by an ugly pit bull cteature who literally jumped out of a car window and attacked for no reason. People tried to help, the dog was finally shot dead as should be. Sick ugly creatures, sick owners.
