Finding love is probably one of the hardest missions we have on this planet. Ask any fellow millennial or gen Z’er how they feel about modern dating, and the chances are, they will tell you it’s tough.
Online dating apps have surely made the whole ordeal less hassle-free. Just think about it – there are about 75M active users on Tinder right now stretching through 197 countries. There surely must be an infinite amount of matches made in heaven, then, right?
While nobody has an answer to this question, this Facebook account titled “Screenshots Taken Out Of Context” offers some much-needed light-hearted entertainment in the world of online dating. Today we wrapped up some of the most relatable and hilarious posts shared here, so scroll down!

According to Pew Research Centre, a whopping 30% of U.S. adults have used a dating site or app to try and find love. A majority of online daters say their overall experience was positive, but some users, young women in particular, reported negative experiences of receiving explicit messages and even harassment.
Today, three-in-ten U.S. adults say they have ever used an online dating site or app – including 11% who have done so in the past year, according to a recent Pew Research Center survey.
For a few lucky ones, these platforms have helped form meaningful connections. For example, 12% of respondents say they have married or been in a committed relationship with someone they first met through a dating site or app. This surely gives hope for many love seekers out there.
Moreover, about a quarter of Americans (23%) have gone on a date with someone they first met through a dating site or app.
On the other hand, online dating can be truly daunting, so no wonder that a new phenomenon called dating app fatigue has emerged. The term refers to a sense of burnout people get from using dating apps for a long period of time and not seeing or getting what they want from the interactions they have.
People still continue using the app in hopes of finding what they are looking for to the point where they are completely tired of searching, and utterly hopeless.
The relationship expert Callisto Adams from Lovehoney suggests managing the time you spend on dating apps. “Setting clear limits on exactly how long you intend to swipe on dating apps can be a great way to manage fatigue. While on dating apps, it can be easy to get lost in a surge of swiping; it is therefore important to take a step back and be mindful of the time you are spending online.”
I'd get a big, greasy burger with that guy. He's funny!
“ I don’t think he’s fat at all” well played, my friend, well played.
Sorry but I am fat and short and I do think I could climb into that truck in any dignified way. Can you bring me back a greasy hamburger though??
That looks like an F-250 and it's lifted. It's a huge truck.
Load More Replies...I don‘t know. Is it just me or do guys who show pictures of themselves with their „of so grand“ cars seam just… „thanks no“ to others too? The text isn‘t making things better either.
Can he afford a burger with how much that truck costs plus insurance for an under 25 year old male in USA? And don't forget the gas!!!
In the words of the late, great, George Carlin: Well, at least he's honest.
He sounds pretty funny... hoping it was all a joke... but I do not like those big rims on a truck that should be able to handle a lot more than it can with those rims being too large.
That we Americans don't judge other cultures/countries by something as shallow as the vehicles they drive, like you do?
Load More Replies...Adams’ other tip is to not swipe on someone you’d never talk to. “When continuously swiping on a dating app, it can become easy to zone out and lose touch with what you truly want from a partner,” she argues. “This can leave you with numerous matches but none of which you actually have a genuine interest in. Instead, make sure to stay in tune with what you truly desire from a potential match.”
I... would just like to mention that I am NOT a platypus, don't believe my profile picture. I am a human, everyone knows that!
Stating the obvious: Some of these guys were just trolling, insulting random girls online. Not cool on any level

Load More Replies...Some do. And it's actually good they show their true colours within the first minute. Saves time
Load More Replies...Just for future reference, I am a garden gnome. I don't have a fishing pole, though I will wave my sign around liberally when required.
