People Ask Their Parents How To Cook A 25 Lb Turkey In A Microwave And Here Are 31 Hilarious Responses
With Thanksgiving rapidly approaching, images and recipes for roasted Thanksgiving turkeys emerge like mushrooms after rain. It wouldn't be the World Wide Web if someone didn't come up with an Internet challenge for this American holiday, and so many parents around the country were quickly sent into terror and bouts of facepalming as their children requested "help" with cooking a 25lb bird in a microwave as a part of this hilariously funny joke.
Although it is possible to cook a Thanksgiving dinner bird in a microwave (and some swear it tastes pretty good), many mothers in the responses were absolutely horrified by such prospect and offered their own time-tested recipes. While some genuinely tried to help their "poor" offspring in trouble, other moms swore to disown their kids for attempting such monstrosity, not buying the whole funny prank thing at all. This Grandma is totally awesome. She could have threatened them, called them names, done anything but instead she took the time to reply with a step by step recipe. You need to take her to dinner and tell her thanks for being awesome.
"We don't normally arrest people for being stupid, ma'am, but in your daughter's case, we're willing to make an exception. Hands behind your back, moron."
If it's an adult kid and what they're saying makes no sense, there must be alcohol involved...LOL
"I should've never let you move out" that mom was regretting everything
...ok but why would you lie that your over is too small, when microwaves are smaller than ovens?
Spoiler alert, 95% of them are parent wondering aloud why their offspring are so stupid.
So I asked my mom. She went: "Where the hell did you get a 10 kilo turkey, you should be at work. And I think you meant the oven." "Can't I make the turkey in the microwave?" "No, you can't." "But why, it would be faster!" "You completely lost it." I think I might have dissapointed my Mother :D
Oho, last reply: "Listen or not, but if it blows up the microwave like it did for Mr Bean then it's your problem" :D

That's cute! Although....well my mom's not the best cook...s'why I started cooking for us so early in my life. This is a question she would probably ask me LOL. Which is why I always cook the turkey and my mom is on cleanup duty!! She's awesome at cleanup - also amazing at chopping the onions so I don't cry :).
Apparently Butter say yes..... you can cook a turkey ( a small one) in the microwave.
When I was in college, I had a special ceramic platter that had a metal disc embedded in the bottom of it, you'd microwave it for 10 minutes and it would get red-hot, throw your cut of meat on it, and put it back in for a few minutes, at least one side of it got browned that way, and the microwave cooked it the rest of the way through. Just cut the turkey part and do it a couple of cuts at a time. It won't be good, but it will be cooked. Better yet, just find a real oven.
