Hello, my name's Pete and ever since I began dating my partner Kellie 5 years ago I've been making her illustrations based on our lives together, to capture the funny things we say and do.
For the first few years no one except Kellie saw them but last year we decided to set up an Instagram page and since then we've been gradually building up a small and loyal following of super lovely, kind people. We've been overwhelmed by how positive and warm the support is.
Now we also have a daughter, Poppy, and the illustrations have become a visual diary of everything, from us deciding to try for a baby, to the tough pregnancy, right through to her being the amazing toddler she is now :)
I think people follow us because our illustrations are a really honest and candid look at relationships and daily life. The situations we show are very relatable and sometimes the kind of things people don't readily discuss. I think the followers also enjoy the combination of very sweet, tender moments interspersed with silly, crude humour.
Kellie and Poppy are a daily inspiration to me, and I love the thought of the 3 of us in years to come looking back at all the illustrations and cherishing the happy and funny memories.

I love these! My marriage is quite similar; weird and twisted humor, awkward dancing just for fun. I usually tell my husband "yeah you suck it you sl*ut" when I light his cigarette for example. We have fun together.

There is no better feeling than a best friend being the love of your life. I related so much to this(apart from the kid- we are not ready for that yet at all🤣👶🏼). I'm so grateful to be able to relate and feel lucky as opposed to wishing I had this... And the love and bond only gets stronger as time passes. I love these! My marriage is quite similar; weird and twisted humor, awkward dancing just for fun. I usually tell my husband "yeah you suck it you sl*ut" when I light his cigarette for example. We have fun together.

Ha, the dog face! My friends and I used to do this with each other! One guy even elevated it to an art and brought us such things as the drive-by dog face and Dog Face Theatre. I thought we were the only ones to do this, but I guess not.

There is no better feeling than a best friend being the love of your life. I related so much to this(apart from the kid- we are not ready for that yet at all🤣👶🏼). I'm so grateful to be able to relate and feel lucky as opposed to wishing I had this... And the love and bond only gets stronger as time passes. Feel lucky and full of love every day. :) I have an exceptional man. Thank you for some great comics!

Ha, How cute is this! my Fiance Adam & I are exactly like this.. Right down to the funny faces... My favorite is tucking my lips against my teeth so my gums & all are showing & staring at him, all while heavily breathing until he notices.. Thanks for the good laughs.. Very sweet!

I love These so much. Our relationship is Very similar. I Think That These moments, These little Things Are Life and true love. Here. In germany you say often "hammer" it's the Same Like oh Wow. And when one of us say Hammer, The other one shouts "stop! It's Hammer time" and we sing and dance to MC Hammer.
