Zach learned to draw all by himself at school when he was supposed to be learning. "I spent 17 years of my life in public school and in college learning nothing except how to doodle. If these comics didn't pan out, my entire life would have been completely wasted," the artist revealed to Bored Panda.
We got curious about how Zach came up with his Instagram name. The artist revealed that he thought of the title "Extra Fabulous Comics" as a joke because his comics "were the worst things his hands had ever touched" in the beginning. The name has since become an ideal that Zach will always pursue, but may never attain.
Dang, these are a sequel to the other one a while back (the one with just under two hundred comics)
Really? C**p? REALLY? We're getting to the stage where every damn word will be blurred on this site.
We asked Zach about the most challenging and the most rewarding part of the creative process. The artist shared that he had a hard time learning the flow of his creative rhythm, "finding which part of the day where his brain is the right amount of awake and caffeinated." For Zach, that is around 1 pm when he's "post-poop, pre-lunch, and had a long walk where no teenagers made fun of his male-pattern baldness."
According to the artist, about 95% of the inspiration comes from just the process of drawing. "Sitting down, inventing a situation, and letting it play out as you draw, often results in the worst and most cringe thing you or anyone else has ever seen. But very seldomly magic happens, and you make something worth sharing!"
That would make him about 95 and put the parents into crippling debt.
Assuming the number of cakes is correlating to his age and taking the average amount of days in a month, he’s now 96 years old. He’s going to crumble like an Indiana Jones temple
Oh my god, I used to have a book when I was little called 'Benjamin's 365 Birthdays'. It was about a bear who loved his birthday so much, the next day he wrapped all his presents again and then had his birthday all over again. And then he started wrapping up bits in his house, like plants and books...you see where this is going. I really wanna read this book again!
We asked Zach about some upcoming projects of his. The artist replied that currently, he's 'recovering' from a Kickstarter for two comic books and a game that he made with Skybound. "I have plans to do more animations and focus more on my other comics, 'Deogie' and 'Pervis'. I also want to get a commercial coffee roaster and buy some land and start a bamboo farm."
For those who are still reading, Zach wants to thank you for looking at these comics!
So true, friends at work but not when not at work and when one of you no longer work there, never hear from them again
Thank you for covering the cartoon a**e, I would have been so offended to see the rest of the line there.
Dear BoredPanda Censorial Staff, for the love of god and all that is holy--STOP FREAKING PROMOTING CENSORSHIP. Did you honestly censor a butt crack and the word c**p? Why are you treating us like children? It’s pitiful that you continually have to censor artists’ work. Who in the world is in charge of placing censor bars on cartoon nipples and butt cracks anyway? I can't believe the hypocrisy of this website anymore. It’s pitiful and really sad that this site has taken to censorship.
Absolutely love this comic. And the meaty butts make me giggle like a 6 year old every time 😊
I'm almost in my 40s and I still laugh uncontrollably at good fart jokes
Load More Replies...Just go to his website so he gets the page views direct instead of giving bored panda the hits with their bizarre Christian weirdness.
