Nowadays, there are tons of comics made about all kinds of topics. The main question is what makes some better than others? Sure, there are such things as style, narrative and themes that make them distinct, but, in my opinion, in terms of what makes them really stand out, the humor is king. And, fortunately for you guys, today's comic is all about ridiculous situations, absurd outcomes, and, frankly, good and occasionally vulgar jokes. But these things are better shown, and not told. Let's not dance around the subject: without further ado, let me present to you comics made by 'Cheddar Bacon Studios'!

Here's what the artist had to say to Bored Panda about himself and his works in an exclusive interview: "I grew up in a very small town in northern Missouri. I have A LOT of brothers and sisters (8, to be exact), which led to some pretty wild shenanigans. My family has always leaned towards the arts, so in college I pursued an arts degree and earned my bachelors in Humanities. That’s when I decided to make the comic in college. My family and I always talked about writing down the crazy adventures we had as kids and I thought doing these comics would be a great way to share these stories. That’s where my main sense of humor stems from as well. My family is my main inspiration. Also, just life in general. Life can be filled with so many little frustrations and inconveniences and I wanted to draw comics that people would relate to."

"My favorite part is making people laugh, of course! I love reading comments where people say that a certain comic brightened their day or gave them a chuckle.

Least favorite is that I just don’t have enough time to draw comics. They can take a while to draw and often I come home from work and don’t have the energy to draw them. I’d LOVE to make it my full-time job one day so I can devote more time and energy to it! I’ve been drawing them for a few years, but didn’t get serious about them until last year.

Right now I am in the US Army, but will be ending my contract in February 2022. We’re not sure what exactly we’re going to do, but my wife and I are narrowing it down! Hopefully drawing comics full-time isn’t too far away!"

"My favorite comics are the adventures of Tintin. Georges Remi, or Hergé, the creator of Tintin is my greatest influence. I’ve based the appearance of my characters and most of my art from his style.

Honestly, the biggest inspiration for me has just been the minor (and major) inconveniences of everyday life. I want to draw comics that people can relate to. Life can be difficult sometimes, but it’s important to look back at the hard times and have a laugh!

My family and friends are my main source of motivation and often my inspiration as well! They push me to keep drawing and help me to create the “best” comic that will get the most laughs out of folks."

"The advice I would give someone starting out is to just keep trying! It’s not going to be easy and will take lots of hard work! Don’t commit to it if it makes you miserable either. And lastly, keep experimenting and learn what your audience finds funny. I’ve had some hit and miss comics, but through studying other comic artists and trial and error, I feel like I’m starting to understand how to get the best chuckle out of folks. Still have a ways to go, though! And I’m looking forward to drawing more comics in the future!"
