Some people who are stuck at home during the coronavirus quarantine are trying to kill time by solving puzzles. But with thousands of pieces and all the trippy, hypnotic patterns, they aren't easy to complete. Luckily, cats are always there to help.
If you accidentally lay a sheet on the puzzle and it can no longer breathe, relax, the kitty will tear it apart. Or have you been struggling with the darn thing for hours and can't stand to look at it any longer? No problem, the furball will knock it to the ground once it spots your frustration.
Bored Panda has compiled a list of pictures that show just how determined cats can be if they decide to give their owners a paw, and, judging from the entries, it's clear they won't rest until they get their way. Continue scrolling and check them out!

My Cat, Deeply Asleep With The Last Piece Of A Jigsaw Puzzle. We've Been Searching For It For 10 Minutes
This cat clearly stole the piece and then accidentally fell asleep, forgetting all about his evil plan
However, if you really want to work on the puzzle and your pet just doesn't let you, it might be because you aren't giving it enough attention. "Boredom and excess energy are two common reasons for undesirable behavior in pets," Pamela Reid, PhD, CAAB, Vice President of The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) Behavioral Sciences Team, told Bored Panda in a statement. "While families are busy working and learning from home, it's important for cats (and dogs) to do the same! In addition to physical exercise, there are many fun and free ways to give [them] a mental workout from the comfort of your house."
Oh, You Wanted To Start A Puzzle? I Don't Think So
First, consider offering your cat's meals or treats out of food puzzle toys. Next, provide objects for them to explore, such as cardboard boxes, paper shopping bags (with the handles cut off), bottle caps, packing paper, and toys that encourage them to investigate various openings with their paws.
"[Also, consider] training your cat to learn useful behaviors and fun tricks, like 'sit', 'come', hand target, 'shake' and fetch," Reid added.
Moreover, you can position bird and squirrel feeders outside windows where your cat can easily observe animals coming and going throughout the day or even try playing videos of birds and squirrels on your TV, computer or phone!

My cat also likes to ''help'' me with my puzzles, but he just likes the company and usually he just wants to sleep in the box. So now I just put an extra box on the table (from another puzzle, or a shoe box or so) and he loves that box! It has become his favourite place to sleep

What is wrong with people that they let their cats get away with this kind of crappy behavior? I have cats and had 5 at one time and I taught them that I am the boss right off the bat. They still do things but for the most part they listen to me. They would all be back on my bed and if I went back there and snapped my fingers all of them would jump up and gallop out of my room - wish I had gotten that on video dang it. I'm down to just 2 since three of them have died; I'm still recovering because it was one a year for the last three years. These were cats I rescues as kittens from ferals so we were very good friends one I saw born and I also saw him die, and it was HORRIBLE.
Pro tip: finish your puzzle then record your cat undoing it, then play the video backwards and you will have a puzzle-solving miracle cat!
Thanks for this one. I laughed out loud on every picture! Decided to get a few paint by numbers instead, but I'm gonna put them up every night!
I'm about to start a 300 piece puzzle with 3 cats, one of them currently hiding under my bed. Wish me luck???
YES YES that is cats. Puzzles are irresistible. We used to have one that would sneak onto the table, steal a piece, and hide it somewhere. Found stray pieces for years after. Had to mark the missing piece on the box lid for later frustration elimination.

I got myself a big framed cork board - the kind that you can hang up. I do my puzzles on that, and it works out better than when I did them on the table. I let the little price and princesses sit in the box. Usually works.
Doors. Yes, I use doors. I just try to ignore the paws under the gap and blood-curdling hollering until they free me from my incarceration. They have 6 rooms and an outside screened porch to play in, I have one. small. office. I wish that I was them.
2 things: one, you can get roll-up mats for puzzles so you can keep them safe when you aren't right there working on them and two: these are the types of people to never discipline/train their cats. They sit there and take multiple pics, letting the cat think what it did is okay. They'd rather let the cat run amok and then complain about it. Cat's can behave better than you'd think if you treat them more like a little human.
