Jokes and cats are the real fuel of the internet. Think of what a bland place it’d be if we didn’t get a daily fix of funny cat jokes gift-wrapped in mysterious feline logic. It’s no secret that cats sometimes, or rather most often, do things that make no sense to humans. To help decipher the internet-famous and genuinely odd feline behavior so often used for funny cat jokes and images, Bored Panda reached out to Molly DeVoss, a certified feline training and behavior specialist who runs Cat Behavior Solutions agency.
Molly said that each cat’s motivation to act as if they’re aiming to turn into funny cat jokes is a very individual thing. “Some cats do silly things to get our attention; we run and get our cameras, cooing and paying attention to them.” This attention that we shower our felines with is precisely what reinforces their seemingly odd behavior.
Meanwhile, “other cats are bored and are trying to find outlets for pent-up energy,” Molly said. Being both prey and predator animals, most cats’ instincts are still pretty powerful. As your house is their new jungle, you see the behavior that makes them jumpy, goofy, silly, yet absolutely adorable.
In fact, this precise feature that we don’t really know what to expect from them is what makes our felines the perfect material for cat funny jokes. “Whatever the motivation for the strange behaviors, it’s always good to pay attention to your cat and tell it how much you appreciate the laugh,” Molly concluded.
However, even if the odd behavior of our beloved felines can be explained, that does not mean that these funny cat jokes on the list are less hilarious! So, why not scroll through the rest of them and have a hearty laugh?

Yeah, that would be me. My husband too, though he’ll never admit it. It’s why we now have four cats and a dog—-all rescues, out of a barn, off the street, dumped in our yard or the neighbor’s (when she was out of town for an extended period and my husband was doing a regular check on her house for her). Yeah. Big softies.

Get a stepladder. Not that it isn’t perfectly fine to lift the cat up to the spider, but at that angle, if the cat drops or bats at the spider and it falls, it very likely will fall on your face. And that is a big NOPE. I’d much rather have Spidey hanging out on the wall than landing on my face (happened to me as a child, and is the reason I keep distance between myself and spiders to this day).

Oh, you JUST had one fall on you? I had 3 older brothers (yes I am a girl) and they threw, placed or smooched, every type of spider, insect or flying animal they could get.
