Yup, that's hockey, and it is awesome.

Hockey is an awesome bloodbath gladiator deathmatch sport. You can punch someone into a concussion and the penalty is to sit by yourself for 5 minutes and think about what you did instead of being arrested. At the end of the game, you shake hands with the person you gave irreparable brain damage and probably shortened their life span.

Hockey is what you think. Bloodbath Gladiator Deathmatch is a way better name too.

Bro that is hockey. When we where younger, we used to sleep with a Toronto Maple Leafs blanket and depending on what their jerseys were we would flip the blanket to that. And if someone got put in the box for hurting someone we would scream at the screen, "for what? Not enough let him back out there till someones f*****g dead!!!" I'm in Texas and knew immediately. Son is playing ice, indoor roller and outdoor roller this season. We love hockey. Roller hockey isn't as rough though.

It's ok. I'm Canadian too and am not very fond of maple syrup (I'll occasionally have a maple glazed doughnut or those leaf shaped cookies, maple ham is pretty alright, but I actually don't like maple syrup itself.)

This is me, with many sports. People start trying to explain the game, and I cut them off, "oh, I know how the game is played, I just don't care."

My sister dragged me to a game when we visited Canada. I am very much not a fan!
