I manage a hotel and we do this. The reason behind it is hygienics. It would be wasteful and unpractical to throw out remaining s&p, wash the shakers and replace the s&p between each guest. I know it looks weird, but it's the best solution.

I like your website, but you really need to learn how to capitalize properly or you come off as semi-literate, which can be embarrassing when you're making fun of other peoples' grammatical errors. You're full of them!

Number #132 is more stupid than you think. That's a squash blossom. Your suppose to eat them. So they probably ran out of flowers, where to lazy to get more so just grabbed the most flower like thing from the kitchen.

#63 is a Japanese restaurant that offers modified floor sitting. To accommodate patrons that can't actually sit cross-legged but still want the low table experience, these booths allow you to remove your shoes, step 'up' onto the 'floor' level and sit down, but then cheat by having a space for your legs beneath the table if you can't sit cross-legged for any length of time.
