Cats are curious animals with a strong hunting instinct. They can also be very playful and energetic, even odd.
Sometimes, they expel all that energy by darting from room to room, jumping up and down on the furniture, and attacking your socks with their murder mittens. The happycat318 Instagram account does a really good job of capturing their mischievous ways. After all, the internet and felines are a match made in heaven, so you know that some adorable cat memes are bound to happen.
And so, happycat318 shares hilarious cat memes about our feline friends being hellbent on world domination, and judging from the content, it's only a matter of time before they get all the catnip they crave.

Dear Diary, I brought home a big mouse...mouse is now fren...send help.
Feline behaviorist Lucy Hoile, who runs an awesome Facebook page dedicated to hilarious cat memes and informative feline-related content, said that whether we like it or not, cats probably think we're just as random as we make them out to be.
“Changes in human lifestyles that seem normal to us (such as moving into a different house or a partner moving in) can completely unsettle a cat,” Hoile told Bored Panda in an earlier interview.
“They appreciate a predictable routine and fit their activities in around us, often waking up with us in the morning or when we come home from work.”
Some say that the differences between humans and cats are what always keep us apart. They claim that since these animals evolved as solitary hunters with little need for reading social cues, especially those for behavior modification, they are hard to train.
While these words might be a true reflection of the adorable cat memes we see on this list, Hoile believes cats can be trained just as easily as dogs (or any other animal), with just a few extra considerations.
“Training with rewards is most effective with cats, they will rarely do something for nothing! The tricky part is finding something motivating enough to use as the reward; it's got to be worth it!” she said.
“Smelly food usually works well e.g. small amounts of chicken or tuna. Training sessions should be short, as they can lose interest quickly and sessions should be split into small, easily achievable steps.”
We attribute a lot of animals' shenanigans depicted in these hilarious cat memes to them getting the zoomies. But why do our companions experience them? The trigger may be excitement or a quick increase in stimulation.
In cats, a commonly reported trigger is using the litter tray. This may be explained by “poo-phoria”, a feeling of euphoria that follows defecation, which is possibly caused by large bowel movements stimulating the vagus nerve, resulting in positive feelings and a drop in heart rate and blood pressure.
That's a soft can-opener thing. We just walk in and demand food.
Zoomies can, in fact, be characterized as play since the two behaviors share many of the same characteristics. This would make zoomies a load of fun.
So, if the zoomies occur as part of your pet's regular play routine, this indicates that your animal is happy and enjoying itself.
Nah I need at least 3 more. And one has to be sitting on my lap
Look what that box did to the poor, innocent cat.
While experts don't yet know if zoomies are more likely to occur at certain times of the day or in some cat breeds compared with others, they do consider them a general indication of a high level of excitement—and likely a pretty good mood.
I wonder how many of these adorable cat memes from the happycat318 Instagram account are the result of those adorable zoomies?
It just exploded on it's own...I will not believe that ball of adorable fluff was responsible.
It is not that kitten's job to try to make a soft can-opener smarter. You all willingly get into the WET! There's no hope for you.
Cheap wall-to-wall carpet in the bedroom and studio. Fancy (expensive) area rug in the living room a friend gave our soft can-opener. Of course we puke on the good rug. It's the only suitable background for the art that is our vomit.
No, they're not. According to the ASPCA, they are "irritating to the mouth and stomach, sometimes causing vomiting, but generally over-rated in toxicity"
Load More Replies...If ingested, cats may experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or excessive drooling. The good news is a cat would have to eat a large amount of poinsettia to get seriously ill. So, while poinsettias aren't as toxic as some other plants, cat owners should leave them out of their holiday celebrations.
500 leaves per kg of body weight in a short period of time. A cat wouldn't even get through one due to the bitterness and the irritance of the latex. Nor would most humans.
