Jauneil began his career as a comic artist during the pandemic. Initially, he intended to complete his engineering studies, find employment, and save money for his true passion, webcomics. However, with the cancellation of his classes in college, he found himself with ample free time and began creating and posting comics online. And the rest is history.
Jauneil revealed that the process of creating a 4-panel comic can take him anywhere from 5 to 6 hours, depending on the number of characters featured within the comic. Each individual character can take him an hour and a half to draw. Despite the time and effort it takes to create each cartoon, the artist is dedicated to his craft and continues to pour his passion and creativity into every piece he produces. In the end, the end result is always worth the time and effort, as it brings joy and entertainment to readers!
"When I get an idea for a comic, I'd first write it down on my laptop with the dialogue and stuff. Whenever I'd get writer's block, I'd go to meme sites, watch anime or the popular series at the moment until I get a humorous new idea."
Similar to the "just make your coffee at home" that the banks preach while being bailed out.
The artist would define his style as "anime-ish": "I think the longer I've been drawing comics, the more it goes into that direction. I just tried to copy common anime stuff then settled in one style I was the most comfortable at." Jauneil gets a lot of inspiration from memes, anime, popular movies, and TV shows and that's visible in his illustrations.
Some of the biggest artistic influences for Jauneil mostly are webcomics that turn into memes like RandoWis and Shen Comix.
Jauneil revealed that the most challenging part of being a comic artist is making a sustainable income out of it. Additionally, he shared that the comic industry might be in danger because of the emergence of AI art, which is on the boom at the moment. However, we believe that comics are not that easy to replace!

The only acceptable roaches around here are Headless Roach and their fellow brethren
It's a character from the anime Fullmetal Alchemist, for those who are unfamiliar. To simplify things, he used alchemy/magic to do really cruel and evil things to his daughter. He magically combined his daughter with her pet dog in order to create a new "beast" to impress his bosses with. It's something that was expressly forbidden.
I believe it's a reference to the whole Momo thing that was on the internet a few years ago(do.not.look.it.up.)
Load More Replies...My biggest concern is why he’d managed to get a tie over his head
Admittedly, while there are actually quite a FEW new characters in Overwatch 2, and not all of them are scantily-clad females, Kiriko is, uh, quite well-endowed :/ (as an aside, I'm a Lucio main!)
My favorite one was the Evil Dr. Strange one. (Question for the artist: Do you like Re:Zero?)
