The issue for most of us is that you are supposedly the leader of the world, but you’re not doing a very good job. Your country may be an economic powerhouse, but when you choose to put politicians on a pedestal, a Demi God, and they do a terrible job then we all suffer. You get shat on for a reason. You can’t want to be all powerful and not be criticised.

There’s no such thing as leader of the world. Power, or powerful in various fields definitely, but leader of the world. We were led to believe that before the age of the internet and now we’re all victims to wasting our lives away. And I bet you have heroes or celebrities you think are amazing, yet you’ve probably never met them, you just get an artists impression of them and that famous artist is called the media. Like I said, America has bad flaws I’m not denying. Besides, school shootings literally never happen in NY. It’s usually the Midwest, not in urban areas.

I live here. Maybe New York City abortion is legal but in the south it isn't. In TN technically if the pregnancy is less than 6 weeks it is, so just about when most women know they are pregnant. Getting an appointment in that time is impossible As for equal rights? Trans people are still discriminated against and in the south gay rights are still a work in progress. Minorities are still discriminated against and face harsher punishment for first time offenders. Missing women of color never get media attention and often get labelled as "runaways." .

Most of the time if you make a counter argument then you get dog piled and downvoted to hell and back. If you are from the South then you automatically get stereotyped as ignorant, racist, homophobic, a religious zealot, gun crazy or inbred hillbillies. This is huge. I nearly quit going to the dentist altogether after the one I had been comfortable with brushed off my saying that a new filling felt that it was too tight against the tooth next to it. It shredded floss when I tried to get between them, and eventually I ended up having more problems thanks to not being able to clean between them. Went in search of a new dentist because I lost trust and told new candidates I was phobic and needed a valium Rx to be totally comfortable. 3 of 3 male dentists that I tried ALL tried to tell me I didn't need it, talked me in to having a procedure done immediately rather than waiting to give me the Rx for a later appointment. Every one was a nightmare that I regretted and never went back to after being further traumatized by each. Finally a woman DDS gave my Rx and SAVED me. Felt safe for checkup sans Rx, and she said she was glad I'd told her I was phobic as she wouldn't have guessed, but she saw how different I was without it that day.
