Meet Frederik the Great, a majestic Friesian horse from the Ozarks in the Central US, considered by many the most handsome stud in the world. Named after the historical 18th century Prussian monarch, Frederik has swayed the hearts of many with his breathtaking curly mane and pitch black coat.
The now 19-year-old stallion first rose to stardom back in 2016 when people began sharing photos of him. Bored Panda already covered his majesty when this was happening. Since then, Frederik’s fan base has grown significantly, with over 97,000 followers on his Facebook page.
Frederik's owner Stacy Nazario, with whom Bored Panda got in touch, explained that his character fits his noble looks well, saying that he is sweet and very gentle. And, to top it all off, he is extremely photogenic, so Bored Panda invites you to check out some of his best photos below.

This is the most magnificent horse I’ve ever seen. My instincts tell me, this horse knows his worth, and definitely knows how beautiful he is. I can only imagine how proud his owner/s are of him. Mere words cannot describe Frederiks’ beauty.

"Frederik's huge personality and stunning looks captivated audiences worldwide giving him the title World's Most Handsome Horse", explained Nazario, "His big personality in shows and public is noticed immediately, he always announces his presence by a loud whinny when he enters a show arena, letting audiences know 'Elvis is in the building'."
She continued: "He loves to show off. Outside of his breathtaking beauty, Frederik is a gentle giant, he loves being surrounded by people and children and loves to give kisses."
We asked Nazario what a typical day looks like for Frederik. She had this to say: "A typical day of Frederik varies depending on his schedule and the season of the year. Of course, there is always lots of love, snacks, grooming and exercise. Frederik loves his fans and continues to maintain a very busy social life and social media."
As it is with many horses, Friesians also require a lot of care and attention: "Friesians in general take a lot of care. Summer can be a challenge as they are black and they can get overheated. Although, Frederik has fans and misters all over his stable, where he spends a lot of time when hot. Grooming and keeping his beautiful thick mane and tail requires a lot of extra time, but it's worth it."
That it truly is, as a good number of commenters are saying that Frederik's majestic hair is something to die for.
Lastly, we asked Nazario about Frederik's favorite snacks and meals: "Frederik has a great diet of organic vitamins, minerals, dried fruit, vegetables, and bermuda hay. His favorite snack—all natural horse cookies."

He TRULY IS A Most GORGEOUS 🐎. A man with THOSE Physical Attributes would ALSO Be A Hunk... I guess Fabio would be the closest comparison, although I did see some say Jason Momoa. While a man would do nothing for me, THAT HORSE JUST MAKES ME HAPPY TO LOOK AT HIM. AND RIDING HIM AROUND WOULD BRING GR8 JOY~ But I 💘 Horseback Riding! These horses are bred for driving. Note the upright neck set and the straight shoulders. Now they are sold to people who don't ride or drive, just want to pay through the nose for a pretty horse. A real shame. Lot s of hype.

I wish people stop breeding and abusing horses for their sick pleasures (for example horse racing)!!! The wild horses are being rounded up and sold to the slaughter. Despicable cruelty.

I have just one answer for your two questions, *sigh*, The Yellow Teletubby: there are more important, humane questions to ask, the empathetic issues to consider when it comes to our fundamental relationship with other sentient beings and natural world; human kind needs to rethink its place in it....stop breeding horses when wild horses are being rounded up and sent to slaughter, that's just one example of human atrocities. It's time to treat our planet and all its inhabitants with respect for its sake and ours. If we don't take care of nature, it will take care of us (ref. to Covid19). I wish Bored Panda would dedicate their efforts to this crucial issue as well.

Hate, hate, hate, only humans are capable of this emotion, not to mention of hatred of the innocent, defenseless living , sentient life. Okay people horse lovers out there and all y'all I'm going to probably get a thousand down votes for this but in my opinion and it's my opinion would like everybody else is entitled to their own opinion I think the horse's mane and tail away too long and way too dramatic I guess it's supposed to be that way with the black guy in a black stallion type horse but like I know that you see on you know love story books but I don't care for it he's a beautiful shiny black horse yes but that Mane and the drama look that they do with that Mane I don't like it on a horse but that is my opinion give me fifty-thousand down boat I don't care but that is my opinion and I'm entitled to it just like you all are and beauty is in the eye of the beholder I do think that horses gorgeous but I don't like the main thing so anyway y'all have a good day thank you very much
