Two years ago, confectioner Lauren Ko started making intricate and artistic desserts. Do you remember that Bored Panda post from last year? Well, as it turns out, she started to bake even more and her amazing work got even better!
Her speciality is pies with geometric patterns, straight lines and contrasting colors. She uses various flavors, colors and textures that we would never imagine to find in pies. Her work is a true art and often lead people to believe that she has professional training in art, design and cooking. The truth is that she never had a professional training, she just always loved art.
Lauren was born in San Diego, California, but recently moved to Washington, where she opened her own confectionery - Lolo Kitchen.
Her Instagram account has a lot of followers who are eager to try her amazing pies. So do not waste your time and scroll the page, your eyes will thank you!

This looks so incredible! Almost more like art then food. I'd be a bit scared to eat it and ruin the beauty!
I love this one! It reminds me of a fancy basket. Purple is my favorite!
Chocolate yum! This one looks the tastiest so far and the cutting is so clean and pretty!
Meanwhile I'm mad when I have to microwave a meal for more than 3 minutes.
The marbling of the filling is so cool, those colors look great together! What a clean line.
She cuts out pieces for one crust, and then uses the sheet she cut from as the top crust of another pie -- how ingenious!
I wish there were labels--some of this fruit I couldn't identify! Would love to know! And I'd love to see the before AND after pics of the same pie.
A lot of the photos seem to be of unbaked pies. It makes sense - the design is easier to see that way.
