My name is Mari Nino and I am a fine art photographer from Russia. I create photographic stories in square format. My process of creating is as following: I take main picture and extra pictures of the space/location around, then combine it all together in Photoshop and cut into square format. As a result, with this method I have a high resolution image plus with square format it gives a feeling of a painting rather then photo. But it turned out that sometimes square format is not enough as it can not show the vast space around.

That is why I decided to step out of my comfort zone and create concepts using usual horizontal format of a picture. Here is what turned out. For me it was a great experience! I tried to push myself out of my comfort zone, just to feel what I can create. I put myself into new conditions and I should truly admit that these pictures have opened up something new for me concerning people and me personally. I believe it is great to push oneself our of the comfort zone from time to time to see yourself in new perspective (not only in photography, of course), to get new experience and feelings in life. Simply to see who you truly are. That is why these days I wish you great stepping ups out your comfort zone! I would be glad to hear your opinion.
