We Create Cute And Whimsical Cat Beds Out Of Natural Wool (18 Pics)
Hello! I'm Kateryna from Ukraine. Together with my husband Denis we are running our cozy Meow Felt shop.
Our felting story began a few years ago when we took a kitten Tara to our home. We thought that it would be great to make a kind of private space for her. I have some felting skills in making clothing and toys. So we decided to felt a wool bed for our cat. That's how our first cat bed appeared. Sure, it was shaped funny, not quite strong and of dubious quality. However, our cat immediately occupied it! It was really touching to see the small fluffy creature peacefully sleeping in our "art project".
We were very inspired by this and decided to keep making new cat beds not only for our cat but for any cat in the world. With each new bed, we improved our skills, quality and designs. It became important for us to make cat beds not only functional for cats but also original and interesting for people.
We believe that if our works make you smile - we are moving in the right direction.

I love the little cat’s smile. She’s looking very happy in this lovely bed.
I thought you said you have "some felting skills". That`s what I have, you are very good at felting. They are lovely! Nice ideas for happy felines.
There wasn't supposed to be a question mark after "Such clever designs"
Load More Replies...Omgoodness these are amazing! My daughter and I needle felt, but nothing that big! How do you make something that big?
Thank you! :) We make our works in wet felting technique, it's a little bit different than needle felting. But we also use needle felting while making small details.
Load More Replies...Thank you! Our houses also fit small dogs :)
Load More Replies...I would love one for my dog but she's a 50 pound Dutch Shepherd mix so I don't think she'll fit. Beautifully done; best of luck with your business.
Round wool felt cat beds have been around for years - I bought three, and they look like rocks, which is pretty cool, and I think one of the cats is convinced she’s invisible when she’s inside. ...///... However...they aren’t that comfy on the floor (no padding), so I cut an old sheepskin into sections and used them to line the beds. Instant success. ...///... You can get sheepskins at Amazon for not a lot of money, and the ones designed as stroller or crib liners are very well priced. ...///... BTW, putting infants on sheepskins is MUCH better for them than sheets or blankets, with the added benefit that you can machine wash sheepskin. Just put them in a regular wash (I used Tide Free), and then into the dryer. They come out very well.

Load More Replies...These are very cute! But? My cats would turn their noses up at all those cuteness, and never use them.🤦🏻♀️
