Father-Of-Three Realizes He Can’t Keep Up With His Children, Transforms His Body Beyond Recognition In 6 Months
A 39-year-old man has decided to completely change his life around to become a better father and husband to his family. In just six months, his determination and hard work have already achieved results so unbelievable, his family hardly recognize him.
In August, Montana-based antiques dealer Jeremiah Peterson went on a backpacking trip to a mountain lake with his children. “Instead of remembering all the good memories we had made on this trip all I can remember is this one thing that kept playing in my head over and over again,” Jeremiah wrote on his Instagram. “I found myself running out of breath and having to take breaks way before my 9, 7, and 6-year-old kids.”
Combining a strict keto diet and intensive regular working out regime, the man began his body transformation. “Don’t be afraid of it, don’t hide from it. Stare your fat ass in the face and choose who is going to win.” For half a year, he spent two hours hiking and an hour in the gym daily. Losing 82 pounds because of his healthy lifestyle, Jeremiah went from size 42 in jeans to a 33.
“I went from having a real dad bod to having a college kid’s physique,” Jeremiah told Daily Mail. “The weight loss made everything better, my hair and skin look healthier, you can see my jawline instead of chubby cheeks and I have abs.”
Jeremiah credits his beloved children with inspiring him to make changes to his lifestyle, and health problems, too. “It transforms not only your physical self but the way you think and feel, as well as the future you want for your family. I know if I can do it anyone can.”

Wow...absolutely amazing..! Congratulations. You look healthy now, and you are absolutely hot..!! I'm sure your wife agrees...
This helps me feel the need to change my 73 year old body into that of a 50 year old again. :)
Load More Replies...With three kids that age I'm astonished he has any time, let alone 3 hours, to work out every day.
Diet has a lot to do with it too though. Time to google KETO diet.
Load More Replies...https://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/body-transformation-jeremiah-peterson-wins-hyper-shred.html Sorry to burst your bubble people, but he did this over and over while participating to win money. See the link I posted where he won similar competition 5 years ago. The reason I am posting this is so people do not get fooled by such stunts and think that by exercising 3 times a day and going on a keto diet you can look like this. It is a LIE. What you can take from it is that he still had the will power to do what he did and may be that is what you can replicate in your life. But please do not expect to have similar results in 6 months. This is mostly a steroid induced transformation. Look at your self, your friends, family, collegues.... did any of them gained such a physique in merely 6 months by being natural? No. If you could achieve a frame like that in 6 months, there would be absolutely no excuse at all for people not to excercise.
Thank you for calling him out. I too did a simple google search of his name, and sure enough the bodybuilding.com link from 2012 was the fifth result to come up. I'm very disappointed, but now concerned for all the folks who are now inspired to jump onto some crazy diet and insane workout routine, and then either do some real injury to themselves or not see the same results in 6 months and feel defeated.

A friend of mine lost 110kg/240lbs in the last two years and the skin on his arms and legs, his back and his upper body practically bounced back. The belly... not so much. But he was way more heavy than this guy, so I think it is possible.
Load More Replies...I love that there is keto diet mentioned. This diet is great, I have lost a lot of weight too and the energy increase is unbelievable. Not to mention that some of the health problems I had disappeared. But unfortunately it is still denigrated by mainstream medicine as dangerous and unhealthy, hopefully this will change over time. Keto is great, no wonder this guy looks so good.

I hope he acknowledges the huge part his wife played in this--because any guy working out three hours a day isn't spending those hours bathing and feeding and dressing and transporting his kids. And isn't spending them shopping for and bringing home and putting away all those keto ingredients. And isn't spending them cooking those keto meals. So, someone else has to. He has worked hard--and is also very fortunate.
Dear all, This guy does the transformations for a living. Please see below the link I have shared from bodybuilding.com in 2012. https://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/body-transformation-jeremiah-peterson-wins-hyper-shred.html. People like him do this transformations for a living. He won similar competition 5 years ago. It is FAKE and not possible without high dosages of unethical and illegal drugs. He is mostly likely on steroids (too perky nipple, huge forearms, so quick in losing fat etc). However, what you can take from it is that he still had the will power to do what he did and may be that is what you can replicate in your life. But please do not expect to have similar results in 6 months. It takes years to look like this naturally. Don’t get fooled, but do get motivated to become the best version of yourself

Wow, crazy. :O Really pretty place too, and cute kids. <3 Wish I had a life like that...
Sad to think he could have simply fattened up those kids to slow them down and they all could be happily watching cable news as we speak. Well, live and let live, I guess.
Not to mention the absolutely fantastic changes you have made for yourself! You should be so proud for you and your kids. I am 60 and weigh way too much!
Ah, you have a most beautiful sheltie...we are sheltie owners also, we have Tallie who is a bi blue merle, we got her from a rescue. NVSR.org. Tallies-st...0b-png.jpg
It's much easier for men. You just have to put in some effort. Not all that hard. I work out 2-3 days a week, and able to maintain pretty decently just with that 3-10 hours per week. Doesn't take time away from my niece. I work out when she's not with me.
before he was fat and spent time with his kids, now he is lean and he replaced them with a dog??
You are an inspiration for this middle aged woman also following a keto lifestyle! 3 months in and 33 lb down (15kg)! Keep it up!
So his wife has been with their kids all the time(and no one giving her any credits), while this fellow been dealing with the side-effects of his bad habits. Point to my self ,no one appreciates your hard work on you body unless you gain a lot of weight and then suddenly loose all the fat in at least 6 mo’s. Pictures needed as well.
Can anyone tell what that piece of paper he is holding says on it? Besides the bottom part that says day 1, day 2, etc. I wonder if he was following a specific set of exercises...I have to look up keto diet
This makes me so happy because looking after his health like this gives him a much better shot at being there for his kids (and grandkids!) for many more years <3
I'd be a bit worried if my family had trouble recognising me. Good job though.
WOW Great job dad! you look amazing! but that is a total guy result...woman are different. it'l take 2-3 times longer for a woman :-(
It must be nice to have three free hours every day to work on yourself. My husband barely has time to sleep, let alone work out.
I can only applaud how people decide to get off their *ss and get healty/healthier and fit! A healthy body creates a healthy mind. You and your loved ones will have so much more time to spend together and be able to do so much more fun stuff together. All those precious memories you can create with your grand(kids) are priceless compared to the small investment you have to make (time/money wise) to get fit and healthy. Thumbs up to this man for doing just that!
wow! I so envy. if you can, I think I can do it too. thank you so much your transformations really really me.
Congratulations! You are worth the time and effort it takes to be healthy!
What an inspiration you are! It also perfectly illustrates what positive thinking can do! Great jobb!!
His whole family (kids and Aussie, for sure) will appreciate his efforts. Good for you, mister Peterson!
Congratulations, mate! You look totally gorgeous and so does your lovely dog! :)
You choose life, and more important than that, you choose a Healthy Life for you and your family! Congratulations! You just became an example to follow! Sugar/carbs based diet and zero exercise is killing our health and shortening our lifes! I hope this great life achievement you're sharing with us motivates many to choose a healthier lifestyle based on a low carbs diet and HIIT exercise 4/5 times per week! Live healthy.
Why? Because he might get attention? She might actually be flattered. You don't know what she's thinking?

That is what makes life worth living and I'm sure his children are very happy to have such a caring father.
Very inspirational! I love it! Great motivation for all of us fathers with the "Dadbod"
Amazing, I am going to keep this story with me... I need some motivation to begin, again, and stay on it.
Such an inspiration! A bit hesitant of the keto diet myself because of potential health risks - but he's definitely a great example of doing it successfully http://www.goodhousekeeping.com/health/diet-nutrition/a47695/what-is-the-keto-diet/
No health risks with Keto if you do it properly. Nay sayers are everywhere unfortunately. Personally, I didn't go whole hog with keto. I went Low Carb/High modified Fat Paleo/Primal. It worked very, very well for me and I did some walking for exercise, not a lot as I was concerned about my tendons and cartilage.
Load More Replies...Damn, hot dad!! (3 hours a day of exercise is a REAL commitment!)
Or possibly really worried. Not sure what she looks like but I bet he is now getting a lot of attention from the ladies.
Load More Replies...And if he doesn't continue to eat that way for the rest of his life, he's going to gain the weight again. This is where people fall down - they think that once they lose the weight, they can start eating like they used to, and that is 100% of the reason diets fail. They don't want to make a lifestyle change that they can maintain for the rest of their lives.
Once I stopped my way of eating (low carb/high fat, paleo/primal) it took a year to notice any negative progress. I am slowly working toward a happy medium.
Load More Replies...Wow, I keep getting inspired by the amazing transformation of other people. The fact that this one happened in just 6 months amazes me. This is pure dedication, commitment and hard work. I wish I was as determined as you are sir.
Less determination only means less fast results. If you ease into it step by step, you will be as surprised by the results as i was on my own journey.

Shame he now wears a f*****g cap backwards. Does becoming slimmer automatically turn a guy into a douchebag?
Those pictures he took of himself were unnecessarily weird...why does he have his pants so far down?
Excess skin can shrink. Whether or not it will depends on a lot of factors. Of course, the more overweight you are to begin with, the more likely it is you will need to have surgery to remove excess skin.

Load More Replies...Wow you are amazing! You look so much younger too (not that you're old lol) and HOT HOT HOT!! I love the beard trim. Keep up the fantastic work. Lucky wife. Lucky kids.
Load More Replies...In the one pic it looks like you have a lip of chew..... can't stay too healthy with that bad habit...... just throwing that out there...... Great job otherwise!
Load More Replies...You're really freaking dumb... If he was using steroids he would be risking losing his children. I really hope you're not that stupid in real life
