I make composites, mainly in London.

When I first got a camera I had no idea how to take interesting photos. I strolled around the city at weekends pointing it at famous buildings to get the same pictures as the tourists.

I quickly got bored before stumbling across a tutorial on masking in Photoshop, and that changed everything.
When I’m making composites I look for contradictions and irony, I find that helps add humor to what I’m doing.

Sometimes I get an idea before a location, sometimes it’s the other way around, but once I have a concept in my head I let it sit and develop for a while before taking the lens cap off.
