Natalia, born in 1986, Poland, studied sculpture at Academy of Fine Art in Warsaw achieving MA in Art.

She is also a theatrical make up artist and costume designer. During her studies she travelled to Rome and spent a winter term attending Accademia di Belle Arte within the Sokrates/Erasmus programme.

Since early age she showed lots of creativity, always making things and later customizing and making her own clothes and accessories.

She translate her ideas and skills into unique pieces, integrating art into a wearable object.

Her bags contradict the museum function of an art piece by using the human body and space around it to show her creations.

She takes her inspiration from the anatomy, nature, the opulence of the Baroque and historical costume. She was always fascinated by handbags, their history, design and forms of embellishment. She considers it an inseparable part of the female wardrobe and ultimate accessory which contains woman’s most precious possessions.

The unique role of handbags in women’s live is a fascinating subject. The handbag has survived and developed because of the woman. The humble money pouch has become an ultimate female accessory, evolving for hundreds of years. It has become a real piece of art of many shapes and sizes. Handbag is one of those inseparable parts of the female wardrobe where she keeps her most precious possessions.

The interior of the bag is made of red satin and contains a small pouch-glove, attached with the metal chain.

Size: 40×90 cm with handles, 40×40 cm interior.
