Self-Taught Photographer Takes Unbelievable Wedding Photos Like You’ve Never Seen Before
It is often said that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Australia-based photographer Peter Adams-Shawn has made a name for himself by capturing the mirror reflections in wedding guests’ eyes. He took his first “eyescape” in 2011 and has been taking these beautiful photos consistently since 2014.
His wedding photography work is so unbelievable that the head International Loupe Awards judge apologized to Adams for thinking his stunning pictures was a composite.
Adams-Shawn shared this tip for taking amazing wedding photos with Techly: “One other secret – the best frames I’ve captured have had the subject smiling,” writes Adams-Shawn. “This relaxes the shot, brings natural creases in their beautiful eyes, and even this close, you can tell the subject is smiling.”

If anyone knows let me know I'm curious I'd really love to do something like this just for my own personal use of photo albums of the kids ya kno. Or if he uses a special camera??
Brilliant. His photos add another dimension to a wedding or any other event. Thanks for sharing.
The ring pic was exquisite. This I a great idea but I hope there was another photographer taking pictures too.
No. I work solo. Why would I need another photographer too? I only take a couple of eyescapes each wedding and th only take about a minute to get. They are just a normal shot to me.

That's what 36, 42 or 52 mega pixels full frame sensor can get you now a days, never mind the ultra high resolution 80MP medium format camera's . He has a good eye of composition. ok that was pun. ;-)
All of these photos are amazing and will be cherished by those involved, as a budding photographer myself, I am deeply inspired by these! Thank you!
I love unique work like this. The person thinks outside of the box and does something that just blows viewers away. Amazing job! I love these images!
Probably a telephoto of some kind, focal length greater than 170 would be my guess
