Realistic Ballpoint Pen Drawings That Take Me Up To 300 Hours

I am a self-taught artist, specializing in ballpoint pen art and graphics. I create some of the most technically complex artworks in the area of Cityscapes investing between 200 and 300 hours of work. My drawings feature as many as 10 to 20 layers of ink, masterfully applied to produce the desired depth, contrast, and perspective in monochrome ink.

In my graphics I highlight the beauty of ordinary moments that surround us. I want to remind everyone that sometimes we just need to pause and look around.

I am a professional artist specializing in graphics and ballpoint pen art. I worked in just about every medium you can think of, but I was always drawn to my childhood hobby of drawing with a basic ballpoint pen. In order to create a wonderful piece of art, one doesn’t need a very extensive workshop or spend a lot of money on the art supplies. With a basic ballpoint pen and a sheet of paper you can create a masterpiece.

The first drawing is taken by photographer Danny Santos, and he also captured a photo of me for his 100 strangers project

Great work, but why with ball point pen? Isn't that a handicap? Couldn't you do even more with, say with one of those old ink pens?

I'm sure there are artists using old ink pens. If I remember from my time in school, real ink pens have different nib sizes.
