Bagan is a fantastic place yet unspoiled, it has all its character.

One of the most stunning and archaeologically informative places on earth. I love riding my electric bike to explore the massive fields of Bagan. Viewing the sunrise & sunset from the temple is breathtaking.

Arc of the Golden Light

The light up of the pagoda makes the landscape more interesting and beautiful during the sunset.
Tourists started to move off after watching the sunset. But I spent another hour to watch this beautiful glow of the pagoda from the darkness.

It was just the perfect time to view the sunrise with the mist covering the sun glow. The birds were flying freely and how I wish I have the bird eyes view from the hot-air balloons.

The sea of Pagodas in Bagan is unbelievable. Not only is it a wonderful gift to the eyes, but it is also an evidence how deep Buddhism has embedded in this country.

Mount Popa. The name Popa is believed to come from the Pali/Sanskrit word puppa meaning flower. Mount Popa, in Burma known as the home of the Nats, is an extinct volcano 1518 meters (4981 feet) above sea level and located in the southeast of Bagan.

Hi Nancy E, good day. Yes, Bagan is indeed a nice place to visit. It was my second visit this year. There are 2000 over pagodas to cover. Hence, most likely I will go back again. Have a great weekend. Cheers :)
