Share on FacebookThat's why I find treadmills really annoying. Even with rain, why would you not rather go to the woods? I ask myself this question whenever returning from a run and passing one of these large-window gyms with all the people on the treamills...
In my case, it's psychological and irrational, but... The feeling when you run on a treadmill -> I'm just a person doing sport like anyone else. Running outside -> who am I running from? What am I running from? Too many watching eyes etc. I repeat, I know it's irrational, but that's the feeling, I can't help it. Maybe if I had a running companion... But then, again, due to my affinities and body type, I prefer swimming and the bicycle anyway. Running is not my style.
