Oh that poor goose. What the f**k!! As if the geese don't have a difficult enough existence as it is with us humans paving over their Homes, draining their ponds for car washes, etc! I saw 2 geese hit by cars in the highway. The third was just Frantically going up and down the median between the two dead ones not knowing what to do and too much traffic to go anywhere else and unable to fly away without its family. It was so f*****g sad. This was next to the new car wash that they did actually drain the goose pond to build, forcing them into the street literally.

OK I think this is cruel and inhumane but I want to ask if all the people here (any of them) eat McNuggets and/or eggs ? If so, you are informed hereby that McNuggets are male chicks that aren't "useful" to egg farmers. So by buying chicken eggs you're doing this same thing as above millions of times over. Just pointing out hypocrisy.

I feel the deepest compassion for mama goose! 😔 And even though I can honestly understand the raging anger against the perpetrator: it would not help anyone to direct this anger against them – on the contrary. I am in no way condoning what happened here. But to meet hatred and wrongdoing with hatred leads, in the worst case, to an endless spiral of hatred. I know, to some this may sound provocative or flippant. But I mean it from the bottom of my heart.

I hope the subhuman who has done that, never, ever have children. And most likely, made a video doing that thing for one of those monumentally stup1d "social" platforms of tik, face, insta, etc

Where I live once a goose have eggs it is illegal to mess with the geese or the eggs. You could be fine or possibly be arrested. I don't care for geese. They can be very aggressive. Who ever did this it was wrong of them.

Just airlift the perpetrator and drop them in the middle of a large forest with nothing but their clothes. Time to learn some respect for nature and realize that without tools, weapons and basic survival skills (which are sorely lacking in most people) we are NOT at the top of the food chain. Nature will take care of the problem for us.

I'm a bit twosided on this one. First of all, this as an awful thing to do and proves beyond doubt that whoever did it is an inconsiderate AH. Second, the industries involving birds as means of production committ more severe atrocities, countable in the millions, on a daily basis. It's just that people get to see a glimpse of the stress a bird can experience that is different here - but, does it make people think further? Does being a firsthand witness to a bird being devestated by destruction of her eggs change anything in their relation to birds and eggs, or is it yet another case of just not wanting to see it, or of favouritism towards one animal, carelessness towards their fellow sufferers of egg thievery? Don't get me wrong, there is absolutely nothing right about the destruction of the eggs here, but, after all, this rings a few bells that often are rung. They have factories doing the very same to the bird - eggs being stolen doesn't magically justify itself because they'll be fried to contribute to someone's obesity. If people only took their personal encounters and relationships to nonhuman animals anywhere near serious, and not as a prop to feel better about themselves.......
